I think new models look great. I love getting new ships, but now I must pay the real price: card binder reorganization. And just where do I store the H6 model? With my Rebel ships or Scum?! ![]()

Nym is an absolute wrecking ball. Did 3 games with him against 3 different lists (one with Rey + Poe, one with Nym + Bossk, and one with Whisper + Kestal + 2TIEs). ALL THREE GAMES WERE OVER IN FOUR ROUNDS OR LESS (excluding the first turn of no combat)
I genuinely think hes even crazier than dengar.... Whats worse? He fits with a decked out dengar....

I picked up two aggressors and a scurgg and have theorycrafted 4 or 5 lists to try out already. It has been a fun night and I haven't even cracked them open yet.
Doesn't hurt that I had enough credit from tournaments to not pay a dime for em.

What'd you fly him with? I agree, he's a shockingly versatile monster to deal with.
How many points is the Lok Revenant, to those who have the ship?

Played my first game with Wave XI stuff and won 100-0 before the second combat phase. TBF almost none of that was down to Wave XI, although I couldn't have afforded the squad without Cruise Missiles replacing Concussions.
I did have an utter blast with Push The Limit Nym, though. That guy is hilariously nimble for a huge plank of wood with engines at the back!

Jm5K's insane dial lets it put bombs out pretty easily, and because turret still get a shot. When i ran against Nym + Bossk i managed to slap his Nym with all 3 clusters and caused 5 damage while bumping my own nym to keep him at range1 of Dengar. Sacrifical damage from my Bomblett to do more damage to his Nym (hit my Dengar for 1 doing so) i brought him down to 4hp and Dengar rolled like a boss and finished him. Full to dead in technically one round...
Against the Rey/Poe, i just exploded Poe so fast he never regen'd once and Dengar outguns Rey easily.
Against whisper/kestal, autoaccuracy kills man, nothing else needs to be said. This is the absolute main thing i was worried about: this Nym build hard counters super evasive builds and hes tanky enough where killing him at range3 isnt easy, he WILL take someone down with him at the very least.
We also played a game where i ran Wullff + 2 SnapWings w/ prockets. He had Nym again though, and just like i mentioned completely autokilled the evasive guys. Neither of them got their prockets off, and they were actively avoiding Nym. So thats 4 games, 3 where i had nym 1 where i only faced him, and all 4 ended super fast.
To give you an idea how much i hate lists like this i have literally never used Dengar before. I've used Tel several times, but not Dengar. I ran this because i wanted to be proven wrong about my fears of this list...i was not proven wrong.
Edited by Vineheart01One guy in my local store played a scuurg + minefield mapper + cluster mines + extra ammo. He dropped 4 sets of mines in a line. With obstacle the board was split in two and each players had to hit a mine if they wanted to go to the other side. Dont know how good it was (did not play against him) but it was an impressive sight. I see a lot of potential for this in epic play.
As for me i was planning to buy only 2 aggressors but the store had many of them and they were tempting... bought 4
. Its too early for me to have a good opinion but my first impression is positive. With LWF the ships seem quite survivable but i have not played against a typical meta built yet.

Yep, seems about right...that's what I landed on when I first started building him. I've switched out AC for Advanced Sensors for lower damage output, but nearly impossible to predict...BB-8 Poe has taught me that a per-manevuer barrel roll is pretty good! Any way you kit out that system slot, that's a sub-40-point ship that is no joke.

This doesn't work. Trying to drop both sets of Cluster Mines with MM falls foul of the 'once per activation' rule. You can use the EM token, but you can't drop the Cluster Mines twice at once and discard both the token and the card.

I faced a very similar list on Vassal and it was total brutality.
Kinda curious if you faced my friend lol.
I mentioned the nym build to him and he said "I'm totally stealing that..." and swapped Dengar with Fenn and Plutt. He said he lost 1 out of i think 6 vassal games with that list.
could also just take dengar/tel and ditch Tel for that Nym
even more fun because you get cruise missiles for a STUPID alpha strike

I was thinking of trying out almost the exact same list later today, but dropping EM and adding Counter Measures to Dengar.

Is this official? Minefield says you can discard "any number of upgrade cards" so technically you are not using minefield every time you drop a new bomb. Extra ammo says that discarding a token is just like discarding a card. If there is no limit to the number of card you can discard and a token is the equivalent of a card, why wouldnt you not be able to discard both?
Reason why it doesnt work is EM is not a bomb upgrade, its a discard protection. You still have the same bomb upgrade you tried to discard earlier, once per opportunity kicks in here and says "You already tried to discard that one"
