Replacement dice?

By jfmongrain, in Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay

Just received my core set - I thought there were supposed to be some replacement dice inside, because the first "print" was not that good, but there is none.

How can I know if the dice I received are the "good" ones - do they include them by default in later prints? Or were they missing from the first shipments (I bought my copy from a local store, so I don't know when they received it..)

Some of the first set ten sided dice were sub standard so ffg included a replacement bag of the same dice.

If you look at those dice and the white inlay is poor or not fully covering the symbol it is supposed to i would contact ffg direct.

If it seems ok then you have the new print run stock.

Check your green and red dice. The hourglasses should have a nice hourglass shape, and the eagles should look well-defined so you can tell they're eagles.

Ok, then, I guess they are ok - one or two are not perfect, but they are easily readable and the white inlay covers the figures well enough.

Thanks!

Shouldn't they actually be giffons, not eagles? After all, griffons are a symbol of the Empire, whereas eagles are more 40K / 3rd Reich. Incidentally, many RW heraldic representations of griffons were very similar in appearance to eagles.

I think they're referred to as 'eagles' in the text, but I'm getting old and can't be sure of anything any more. :)

It's possible they're referred to as eagles; I couldn't find it with a quick search. I was mainly thinking in terms of what they "should" be called. At my table, they will be called griffons. cool.gif
