Working on an Idea for the Chir'Daki.

Ok, so I've had an idea for the Chir'Daki, also known as the Deathseed, rattling around my head for a couple of days now, and wanted to see what y'all thought.

Attack: 3

Defense: 3

Hull: 3

Shield: 1

Basic pilot cost: 20

Actions: Focus, Evade, Barrel Roll

Dial: All 1 speed manuevers green, speed two straight and banks green, all standard speed 3 maneuvers white, red speed 3 t-rolls, red speed 4 straight, red speed 5 k-turn.

what is the basic pilot skill? It's got a pretty phenomenal dial - 1 straight, 1 green turn, Trolls and K-turn.. no boost - but the extra shield is a good value on agi 3. You're in the right ballpark- 20-22 points at ps 1-2 ish seems good. p.s. 1 is almost worth more than p.s. 2

In this way, a Chir'Daki could be either an Alpha Squadron Pilot with the title or a Rookie Pilot with the title, Shield Upgrade and Vector Thrusters (and the salvaged slot not used).

Yeah, the dial seems a bit too good. I'd make the 1's only be green banks and white turns. Have all green 2's and all white 3's plus T roll and kturn, as well as white 4 and kturn. That way it has better performance than the TIE at lower speeds, as welm as Trolls, but still lack the 1straight and lose the 5 forward. Could be an interesting nimble little ship.

I like the dial idea. Definitely going to use it.

Interesting idea, but it's a bit difficult to fit fitting stats for the Chir'Daki with these cards. Works for most of the others though.

Well finally came up with unique pilots, and a faction. Their faction is Rebel do to association with the New Republic in EU. Then there are the pilots.

Nawara Ven, Twi'lek pilot and later XO of Rogue Squadron, and Tal'dire, Twi'lek leader of the group who flew the Deathseeds. Plus I have names for both non-unique pilots, Rylothian Rebel and Twi'Lek Ace. Rebel comes in at PS2, and Ace comes at PS6 with an EPT. Then you have Ven at PS5 (he even considers himself one of the worst pilots in Rogue Squadron) with an EPT. His ability is "At the start of the Activation Phase, you may select a friendly ship at range 1-2 that has not activated. That ship may activate at your pilot skill." As for Tal'dire, he's at PS8 with an EPT and the abillity "Once per round, when an enemy ship flies through your firing arc at range 1-2, you may perform a free <roll> action. You may not perform another <roll> action this round."

Their costs come in at 20 for Rebel, 24 for both Ven and Ace, and 27 for Tal'dire.
