If anyone was still curious on a Quickbeam ruling now that the pack is out, I sent the question in to FFG, just to be sure:

Hi Matthew,

Quickbeam is definitely a unique character. We’re not exactly sure how the unique symbol disappeared from his title, but it will be added to future reprints.

Hope you enjoyed the Haradrim cycle!

Cheers,
Caleb

So what the **** was with the delay if not to fix Quickbeam?

*sigh*

IMO the delay was essentially a spacing out of the packs so that there wasn't a huge gap between Crossings and Rhovanion. Caleb has been busy working on the digital version of the game and there are only so many hours in the day. Prepare for a new normal.

The slow pace of this cycle's release was dominated by a single huge gap between two packs. I'll grant the possibility that the slowdown was intentional to prevent an overlong gap before Rhovanion, but surely it would have made more sense to space the packs evenly?

With the Saga releases complete and not being replaced with other content (unless you count the digital game), I think we're going to end up with a two month gap between releases going forward, double what it was in the past. This is sort of expected, since we had 1.5 developers working on the card game (100% of Caleb's time and 50% of Matt's time), we now have about 0.75 developers working on it. So while the game still has a long life ahead, I think we will have to unfortunately get used to longer intervals between content.

I need the longer intervals. I only have like 10% of the expansions. It's gonna take me a very long time to get caught up. (Just got back into the game recently) after 5 years or so

has anyone actually got this in the UK yet? I'm still waiting.

No I haven't seen it anywhere in the UK.

Same here. It's getting a little vexing.

You can just order directly from FFG's website.

I pre-ordered it from my usual supplier months ago, when its release looked imminent, so i've already paid for it. I don't understand what the holdup is.

I see. I like to avoid pre-orders because of all the logistic mess like this.

Still no sign, three weeks on.

According to the PDF that Asmodee puts out (and my FLGS in the North East uses) Crossing of Poros is out next week (and it's about flipping time)

Holy!! And I thought here in Chile we had delayed product. I've had my Crossings of Poros for weeks now!

I think there was one product for LOTR that never got an official release over here but I'm pretty sure that Poros is the most delayed release to actually (hopefully) hit stores in the UK.

Finally received my copy yesterday.
