i'm more miffed that once again scum get a ridiculously strong ship. They have like 1 "average" ship, and thats the new Scyk (its pretty good but its frame keeps it from being awesome). Everything they got is either trash or OP as balls.
Even in the upcoming Guns for Hire its the same thing. Few scum players playtested those cards, the StarViper suddenly is a serious and insanely irritating problem but lol the kfighter is still a piece of garbage.
Imperials dont have many flatout bad ships, in fact i'd only say theres 3 of them (Lambda, Firespray, and Punisher) and one of which might get a bit of a rebirth in wave11 (punisher). However everything else is just average to slightly above average. Which is EXACTLY WHAT THEY SHOULD BE - so where the hell is Scum's "average to slightly above average" ships? Theyre either total trash and get roflstomped every time, or win without even trying.
Generic scurrg might be an issue but i dont see it being the new torpboat. Nym on the other hand is flatout insane....

The SF was a totally new king of ship. Nothing compared to it (even the ARC). Agressors are much easier to evaluate because they are a slight variation of the Y-wing. At the moment the classical imperial formula of good dial/high agi/lower health doesnt work that well. Why would it be different with this ship?

People dont understand that cruise missile alpha is not like plasma torp alpha. It's incredibly harder to pull of. Unless your opponent is not so good, he wont let his ship being boxed by 2-3 opponents running (or turning) at full speed. It's incredibly easy to predict. Some might say you can bluff by not going full speed but then if you fire the missile it's a waste of precious points.

Wave 11 is more like a mini Wave 5. Decimators might be the weakest of the PWT ships but it is the PWT ship of the Empire.

TLTs = the ships with TLTs obv
the reason people don't play loaded Ys is because thy don't have torps that allow you to keep TL for re-rolls + gchips (also don't roll 5 dice). There's a stark difference between cruise missiles and torps.
you could say why it's a bad move, but you'd be overlooking the obvious advantages too
you can fit 3 PS 5 TLTs + cruise and a black crack, or knock down to an academy to get VI ketsal. DengarTel sucks, though, just like it does with anything you could field
