And even with K4 it's really just two large ships, the Shadowcaster and the JM5K (especially with Unhinged). Of those two I'd say the JM5K is the biggest issue.... again.

And the YV. Bossk with K4, a missile, and Scavenger Crane is a terror.

An expensive, one agility terror who flies marginally better than a Lambda and folds like an accordion when you get behind him. Seriously, if Bossk with K4 and Ordnance is the biggest problem we can think of, then we haven't actually got a problem.

I didn't say it was the biggest problem, I said it was something which works well with K4's ability to get locks whilst stressed and bumping.

Especially when combined with Ketsu, Fearlessness, Dengar crew, and Cluster Missiles. One-rounding 9 or 10 health ships, especially small ships, is not only possible, it's likely, if everything comes together right. And one rounding Defenders is routine.

I actually think it's NOT a problem; Bossk would really struggle without K4 working the way it does.l

Yeah, Bossk is a cool ship, without his wingmen though he can be easily beaten down. I've thought that TLT Nym with bombs could be a decent wingman.

No. The problem is Jumpmasters/Lancers getting fully modified shots on the basis of having done a green move, no matter what they hit along the way.

Time was blocking a ship meant it had no actions and you could lay into it with the rest of your list. Now it just means your opponent has 1 less choice when picking which ship he wants to remove from the board before it gets to shoot this round. (Unless you too are playing an equally broken JM5K list).

That got me thinking of star trek 6 the voyage home where they pack a whale in the cargo hold. Only what if instead of a whale it was a swarm of sharks. Then what if instead of boring star trek this ship was in star wars and under attack. Then what if it had rigged cargo chute equipped and dropped a cargo token that looked like a space sharknado. Does anyone make that token yet? If not, they should.

Really? well a lancer you can out fly so ya flying still means a ton and blocking still removed one action and messed with the ships location. And the jm5k you need to bump out with your most valuable target and hit the other ships with everything while forcing the opponent to either split fire or fucus the none ideal target with less actions.

If these ships are giving you issues while they are bumping then you need to fly better, they still want there action and to pick targets. "Flying doesn't matter because I was beat by ships when I flew like crap" is a great way to not improve.

You know what ruins dengars day? Why you block a sloop and nail him with everything from out if his arc, it takes good flying and good game sense to beat these ships. Good flying is the counter to these ships you claim make flying meaningless.

No, it's when I do everything right and lose not to superior flying, but broken combos that pisses me off.

Maybe if you fly him with missiles, which you don't need to. Just use Dengar/Mangler instead, and you're set. Especially if you fly a ship behind Bossk to protect his rear.

Take of k4 and put on dengar as crew and you are solid on the r-rolls anyways.

What's funny is that people that fly no skill, easy mode ships tell others that complain to get good. Wow, this Shadowcaster dial is REALLY limiting, I can ONLY do green hard turns and go fast. And having the mobile arc takes so much more skill than PWT's, I had to spend my ship's whole first action to change it, it's always a hard decision on where I'm going to leave it for the entire game as I skillfully circle my opponent.

Aw shucks, I flew over an asteroid. SIGH. Guess I ONLY get K4 Security Droid and Expertise and Asajj's pilot ability this turn. Just goes to show that this is a low floor, high skill ceiling ship.
