Is there something like a staff with a light/heavy ranged weapon in it?

There's the Mon Cal Spear Blaster from Strongholds of Resistance (pg. 105).

Would this or something else allow me to get the linked quality so I can hit once with the blade once with the blaster end?

I guess that would be up to the GM. My first thought is that it would be 2 weapon combat, but that leads to a formidable dice pool (literally). Though a suppose it might be allowable with a triumph in certain situations.

Basically hitting with a Ranged and Melee weapon in a single attack in this system is nerfed. Perhaps the Warrior book will fix that. Best you can do now is shoot a pistol and throw a knife as a Gunslinger.

This would be my take on it, and "linked" seems to be described as two of the same (or at least similar) weapons, operating in the same fashion. I would focus instead on crafting the weapon to be superior, and the ranged aspect to be as accurate as possible, to offset dual-wielding penalties.
