Depending on the dataset it is easy to add a new column for sources. But e. G. Adversaries are outdated concerning the xml structure and thus have no sources in the xml. Anything else can be added soon.

Does anyone know if Mods will make their way there? What about Crafting templates?
Attachements are considered to be included in the future. Templates not. Sorry
Awesome!
Truly awesome work all!!
How difficult would be to filter by source?
For example my players are generally not interested in any unofficial species source. Would they be able to filter our those species?

Thank you very much. I am happy to hear that you like my work
I will add a multiselect filter for source books.

The new "source" filter is now online.
@Arrakus To show only official species, select every checkbox except "Unofficial Species Menagerie".

It should be noted though, that the only thing "unofficial" about the species in the USM is the game stats. The species themselves have all appeared in canon or Legends sources.

Splitting hairs on what's currently "officially sanctioned" vs. what was previously licensed, legends doesn't qualify any more but bits of what once was legends have been moved to the cannon/"officially sanctioned" category.

Well, I'm simply differentiating between what's been given official game stats and what's simply appeared in the lore as a whole. Everything in the USM has appeared in at least one official source from SW lore.

Having appeared in and being consistent with one or more legends sources does not necessarily make a species write up consistent with the new/official cannon. I mean bothans are apparently getting worked over and they were *mentioned* on screen in the original trilogy, but their legends description is apparently being revised.

I never said it was. All I said was that all of the species in the USM have appeared in official sources, be they Canon or Legends. Thus, while the game stats may not be official game stats, the species themselves are officially recognized species from the existing lore .

You're trying to split hairs in a way that is not supported by the current cannon, thus the CONCLUSION (namely that the species in the USM are official), you were trying to reach is invalid. You reached too far and came up short.

Nope. Wrong answer. The game stats in the book may not be official, but the species themselves most definitely are . They have all appeared in official lore . None of them are "Fan creations". And, for the record, I am not differentiating between current canon and Legends here. I am talking about the official lore as a whole , which includes both the current canon and Legends . So your argument is a straw man argument anyway. And, also, there are only seven or eight species in the USM which haven't appeared in, or been mentioned in the current canon anyways.

That's your mistake.
Lucasfilm doesn't agree with your definition of what star wars officially is. If you have a problem with that take it up with them.

It's not a mistake at all. There is a difference between " official " and Canon now. They used to be one and the same, but they're not anymore. Legends is still officially recognized by Lucasfilm. And it is still drawn from. That material is still under official license . This is why I specifically said official lore in my first post, and not "Canon". And why I specifically said, both Canon and Legends .
I'd like to request that the two of you take this conversation to PMs so we can keep this thread on the topic of this amazing service.
Something I have been trying to do on Oggdudes' generator but have been unable to do so, is create a list of all the careers plus specializations and then break out what skills are career skills.
I have often thought such a break out would be helpful for players new to system and did know all of the careers. But did know they wanted to fly space ships, shoot rifles and make robots. I could then at least see what specializations match up best with those skills.
Anyway this could be implemented? Asking too much?

Just because your mistake was intentional doesn't mean it's not a mistake.
It's preposterous to make a distinction between canon (the official continuity/state of the universe) and the word "official" while not making a distinction between "official" and "licensed".
It's a very simple concept and if you need a real world example, Barack Obama used to president but he's no longer a US official, even though every bill he signed into law is still legal.
I believe you are being deliberately deceptive about this with the intent of ?maybe convincing other forum members that what you want to be true about star wars actually is?.
And the reason I believe that this is a deliberate attempt at deception is that back before the Disney reset/redefinition of official canon you very vigorously/adamantly insisted that what used to be called infinitis was NOT official despite the fact that it was licensed.
The EU was demoted to the same category as inifitis and the EU and that category is now called "legends". And if you doubt that the EU and infinitis are equivalent now, some of what was infinitis (e.g. that Darth maul survived being cut and half and falling down a "bottomless pit without handrails" and came back with robot chicken legs) is now official canon while the majority of the EU is not.
Since you previously correctly asserted that infinitis was not official despite it being licensed, and the EU and infinitis are now the same category "legends" that means legends isn't official.
And regardless of all logic and what Lucasfilm says is official (which is an argument you can't win unless you have enough money to buy Lucasfilm from Disney)... you'really now semantically arguing with your past self; either infinitis was always official and you were wrong about that then or legends is not official now and your wrong about that now.
So which are you claiming now: that you were wrong before or that you're wrong now?

PM sent.
Another question, are there plans to include vehicles?

Would it be better if the boxes for sources was defaulted to be checked, instead of unchecked? That way people could uncheck what they do not want, instead of checking a bunch of boxes that they do want. Right now, if one only wants a few books, they have to check things they do not want. Seems a bit backwards. Could just be me though.

Yes it is planned but has currently a lower priority than other issues. Do you think that vehicles are more important than attachments or careers?

Thank you for this idea. Dutzen had this idea earlier too. I will change this soon.
