Alright, so I got a single copy of Phasma out of my most recent box and I was thinking of a way to get her to work. The idea I had was Phasma/ Nightsister/ Deathtrooper.
Single-die Phasma: can she work?
Tough to say really. The way the two die Phasma decks work is they use the other characters to absorb the damage while you build up Phasma with upgrades. So that when the other characters die, Phasma is a beast and can easily finish the game. With one die Phasma, she is less of a beast. Sure you've used your other points to have stronger support characters, but you've taken away some of her punch.
That said I ran Dooku / Phasma / Trooper all through the awakenings meta and was very successful. However in the current meta, I think two die Phasma is better. But one die Phasma could be worth a try.
I only have the one at the moment. I'd definitely swap the Deathtrooper for a Stormtrooper if I got a second Phasma die, so the biggest question goes to the third character. What makes for the best pairing; Guavian Enforcer for access to Yellow, Nightsister to get some Blue in there or keeping it mono-Red with TIE Pilot?
eAurra/Phasma seems decent.
Also there is a Phasma/DT/Tiepilot list that Jay from double blanks gaming on you tube run for a bit that seemed good
The main advantage of elite Phasma is that it gets you to four dice - you can run eBala and a Stormtrooper, but that that point you're not really getting much from Phasma.
As such, I'd agree that replacing the Stormtrooper with a Deathtrooper is probably the way to go, essentially trading out a dice for a better character. From there, all of the 8 point non-uniques are viable, so really a choice of what you want to do. Guavian still feels like it's probably the solid choice though.
Awesome, thanks! I was leaning towards Nightsister, but I think yellow's card pool might come in handy for Electroshock, He Doesn't Like You, etc. Plus Guavian himself helps punch damage through even if he rolls crap!
I'll have to slap a deck together tonight!
Edited by Hol CoronetYes sadly, whenever Phasma goes out with only one die she locked up by the janitor.
Alright, I've put a deck together. Seems like it'll be fun, let me know what I can do to improve it!

Consider adding Imperial Discipline (if you have any), it is great upgrade on Phasma. The die is basically a focus no matter what you roll, and it only costs 1 resource to play.
I'd also consider one copy of Endless Ranks. While you probably won't have the resources to center you deck around the card. It can win you games if you games in the right situation.
I have yet to see Go for the Kill really make a difference. To me the card is just too situational to warrant a deck spot.
You might also want to consider Sabotage. Your deck is extremely vulnerable to to Imperial Inspection with all your upgrades 2 or less. If you don't think you'll run into it, then don't worry. But even the chance of going against it would make Sabotage a worthy include. (It is good against other supports too.)
