If you were born into a great clan in Rogukan, what clan and family would you be born into and what position would you hold? For giggles, you can do more than one - you will probably be back many times anyway!

If I was a Lion, I would like to think I would slowly rise to become a Chui from the Akodo family. Not a bad ***, but I play well with others, can direct the group, and I follow orders. After some time I see myself shifting to a Sensei position for the younger students.

If it were Dragon, I see myself as a monk in the Togashi family. Training and figuring things out what things are by asking myself what they are not.

If it were Phoenix, I would be one of them Shugenja caught up in the power of the Kami and quietly go down a frowned upon path.

I'm extremely nearsighted, bookish, etc.

Well, I'm an engineer by trade, so I'd say...Kaiu of the Crab is most likely.

I like to think I would in fact belong to the Unicorn Clan, but regardless, I would likely be an Imperial Historian or an aide thereof, as I have a knack for scanning the densest reads for the subtlest of errors and finding them. Not that I would openly acknowledge my predecessors having made such mistakes...

But if not that then probably an Ikoma, or some brand of Scorpion or Crane.

Been with my company for 20 years so loyalty would probably be my bushido trait......not sure what clan that would make me because I always ignored clan loyalty and picked Shadowlands. Primarily because they were the underdog at the onset of the CCG and I'm pretty much assured of playing whatever the majority decides is no good.

Hiruma family of the Crab Clan, running the length of the wall, everyday making sure my brothers and sisters in arms have the jade and such that they need to fight the good fight.

Daidoji family of the Crane, I'd probably be a merchant for the family.

Mirumoto family of the Dragon, I'd be a mountaineer, looking for those lofty heights for the monks to sit.

Ikoma family of the Lion, a historian, map maker, or advisor.

I would be Bayushi Shoju. Hot *** waifu who runs the other boys and girls in circles while I make all the profits for us. I'm a salesman by trade, so being Bayushi fits naturally for me. I'm always a top performer, so if I can't be Shoju, I'd prolly take him out to lead the clan, and keep Kachiko on board because she's essential to any serious plot line in Rokugan.

I would love to be a kakita Courtier for the crane or a kitsuki magistrate for the dragon.

But with my luck I would probably be a lion footman.

Realistically the majority of us would be peasants. Hopefully I'd be a crab or a dragon peasant. Find some weapons and twenty goblin winter myself into a family.

The only difficulty with any Shoju comparison, is the 1st thing that pops into my head is 'Oh, so your unspeakably ugly then?'

I do have quite a large nose, so I could fit the bill on that. I would certainly wear a full coverage mask too.
