Wave VI Sato fleet "Concussed"

By Darth Sanguis, in Star Wars: Armada Fleet Builds

I think this is pretty obvious, maybe not the strongest fleet, but something tells me it could be entirely amusing to play

Maybe drop the bombers and make it a bunch of A-wings? cuz your ships have a lot of ship-ship firepower, and the bombers aren't exactly necessary. if you really want bombers, you should add an escort for the HWK intel so it doesn't die.

Was thinking along similar lines tonight, but went with scout corvettes instead. Will one black die at long range or side arcs be enough to trigger ACM, even with two rerolls? I suppose if you CF that'll double your chances...

I'd worry your speed 3 squadrons will get locked down and destroyed before they get to trigger Sato (though Tycho will help)....but Ywings are pretty tough too. Keep that Intel alive!

Let us know how it does!

Well here's the deal, I used a similar list, that had only one hammerhaead set up like this (minus the title) on Friday. It was fairly successful as a whole, but I have to attribute that to the MC30s.... as the Hammerhead was unable to trigger it's ACMs...

Using CF I was able to roll 2 black at long range with sato. and 3 times I got the crit, however, without accuracies or being close range (or maybe even just a slightly bigger pool) the opponent was able to evade the crit every time.

The fighters did well.... A lot of people raise concerns like that and against an AA fleet you may feel some pressure, but I had no difficulty getting my As to long targets and stacking my Y's around the slower ones... zapping it's shields with Norra lol
