My FLGS ordered the kit along with all the other games, but for some reason the kit wasn't delivered.

Has anyone seen the kits? I'm really curious to find out what's in it.

I've seen the challenger's kit. It's got some acrylic objective tokens, some different art versions of certain deployment and scenario cards. It's got some sets of a new scenario and deployment card combo that are meant to be played together. It also has a full-bleed version of ankaur's card. There are several copies of each card and a fair number of objective tokens so you could probably split between like 8 people if I'm remembering correctly and everyone would at least get all the cards.

EDIT: To be clear, *I think* it was 8 of each card but it could've been like 6 or something. I just took a brief look at it.

10x full art Ankaur Maro

10x sets of five objective tokens (that are slightly larger than regular objective tokens)

8x of everything else

Note that Seize the Artifacts and Mists of War are misprinted, with no token value.

It also includes some sheets to run three, two round tournaments which is... odd, by my estimation.

You apparently get points for shouting the name of your faction? I don't know... I'm going to ignore the organizational material and just use the prizes for tourneys.

Does the mists of war card actually come with an expansion? Also... I don't find those objective tokens to be all that great looking.

I'm guessing Elf objective, as we have Hawthrornes and (presumably) Maro's there.

The tokens are nice enough. They're frosted on the back, and look better in person but, as I said, they're bigger than normal tokens.

This vexes me, since objective tokens are the ONLY tokens whose size/shape can matter for measuring purposes.

Neither.

It's a kit exclusive objective/deployment that can only be played paired (as instructed in the organizational material), and thus has no real integration value with the game.

On the "Why the hell would I want this?" scale it rates about the same as the Skirmish deployment card in the Launch kit.

Ran into this same issue today. Not sure, but 30-50 points seems about right to me.

20 points if I recall correctly from what my LFGS dude told me.
