Just because no one got hurt doesn't mean it wasn't pirates.

Contextually, it doesn't sound like it; here's the content of the post in question....

Finally, some movement. https://www.fantasyflightgames.com/en/news/2017/9/18/pointed-questions/

Interrogator looks like fun. Agitator/Interrogator's gonna be nasty.

EDIT: The product page is also live, though no spoilers than what we have already.

I wouldn't get too excited about this. We won't see it until 2020

I don't know, I'm getting the vibe that the Interrogator might exist in the same space as the Advocate, where it's really interesting if your group actually does social combat, but largely useless in the 90% of games where social situations are handled with simple opposed checks.

Okay! Now that they're releasing articles again, I'm thinking that means that most of the printing/shipping problems have been resolved. The article itself gives a Q4 2017 release and, while those release dates are notoriously spotty, it could mean that we'll be getting this by at least Christmas!

And seeing how Ghosts and Fully Operational were announced before Cyphers, I'm thinking that means we could be looking at a busy Q4!

Maybe...hopefully...possibly?

:DInterrogator eh? Well I guess the concerns about Disney getting involved content wise were mostly false.

Melitto: Willpower 1, Presence 2.

Presence 2... for a faceless insect that has to communicate through a vocoder, consumes sugar water as its only sustenance and can't even breathe the same air?

Not any weirder than a protocol droid, really.

Faceless insects that have to communicate through vocoders, consume sugar water as their only sustenance and can't even breathe the same air as everyone else are people too you know!

So Coercion as a spec skill is confirmed. Deception might be one as well, but Spies already have that, so they may give us another skill instead. There certainly are plenty of precedents for redundant skills. Those two skills are quite clearly designated as the interrogator's social skills, as opposed to charm and negotiation. While a real interrogator certainly can benefit from charm to build rapport, I suppose the same can be done with deception. Regardless, the other skills will be decidedly not social.

Based on previous advertising as well as the talent set, Medicine is pretty much confirmed.

Discipline or Cool would be useful in filtering out BS, and the nobody's fool talent is confirmed, so that is a factor. Of the two, spies already have access to Cool.

If they don't double down on Spy Career skills, we still have one slot available. I would say Brawl.

Looks like they could also make for an "official" springboard for all those folks out there wanting Miraluka stats to borrow the sight mechanics.

It's not like there's going to be a gift giving season coinciding with a major release of Star Wars media occurring towards the end of the year. If there were, it would be a shame to miss such a sales opportunity.

New article up, about the Sleeper Agent. https://www.fantasyflightgames.com/en/news/2017/10/2/in-plain-sight/

Cunning Persona looks interesting, and awfully cheap for what it does. Hey, there's well rounded. I think someone here predicted that. (looks back through thread). It turns out I did, I thought it was someone else.

The Nightstinger looks incredible powerful, wow. Extreme range and stun setting...

They're still saying fourth quarter of this year for release, that's going to be a lot of books.

I didn't see anything to say that it can actually use the Stun Setting beyond the normal Short range. Also, the gun is HUGE! It's a heavy sniper rifle, so I image that the Stun Setting will be among the least used aspects of this weapon.

Assuming it's the same as this Nightstinger, I'm pretty excited. I had an assassin use one in my game but the PCs never got close enough to examine/loot the weapon, so I haven't needed stats... yet....

Looking great, definitely a spec I was hoping for.

If there's a big gun in the book than what spy character is supposed to use it? Infiltrator?

The Ghost seems nice for having a blaster always near you. And as someone who always takes Ranged (Light), the A280-CFE is going to be fun to take for when you wish to be Cassian.

The CFE is pretty cool and I'm very excited to see it, but I'm intrigued that it made it into this book when Dawn of Rebellion (which has been earmarked as to be all things Rebels and Rogue One) is also on the release schedule.

From what we can see so far, the A-280 CFE doesn't look all that impressive compared to the DR-45 Dragoon from Stay on Target. For an extra 200 credits, the Dragoon comes in at two less Encumbrance, has two more Hard Points, has Accurate 1, has a lower Rarity (6 vs. 7), and isn't Restricted. Unless the A-280 CFE offers something really special in its write-up, it's a total waste of space as just about anyone will just opt for the Dragoon instead.

I imagine that there will be a few extra rules to allow how the blaster can convert from a pistol to a rifle or other various 'configurations', as K2 puts it.

There's no doubt in my mind that due to the focus of information on it lately that Cyphers and Masks has killed Fully Operational when we weren't looking, like the sneaky little assassin it is, no doubt as part of some dastardly scheme to get released before it.

The question is if this book is prepared to do this to one of it's own line, there's no telling the depths it will sink to in order to get released quicker. Why, even typing this right now I could be in terrible dan-

What a nice assassin, hitting "submit reply" for you post mortem.

Hey, just because I'm an assassin doesn't mean I'm a jerk.

But I'm super annoyed that there isn't a species mention in the new article.

Do we have Weequay in the AOR line? There's a Weequay pictured in first image.
