I made this build on Store Champs.

I want to have a fun and maybe win some games.

What do you think about it ?

I think Vessery may be overdoing it a bit on the mutually overlapping upgrades:

  • You're getting your target lock 'free' when you attack
  • You're getting Marksmanship for 'free' with Experimental Interface
  • ....What are you using your 'normal' action for?
  • The Mangler Cannon already gives you a [hit] to [crit] conversion; do you really need Marksmanship too; at least one hit in most attacks is either dodged or splashes on shields.
  • Isn't TIE/d limited to 3-point cannons (Tractor Beam, Flechette Cannon, Ion Cannon), anyway?

The scimitar.....Long Range Scanners isn't a bad upgrade for a bomber not carrying anything else in particular, but if you're going to pack mines, it's really worth trying to find the points for extra munitions and/or upgrading the pilot to Deathfire, who makes much, much better use of them.

Its only limited to the three point if you want a second attack. You can still take mangler but you wont get to fire with your primary.

But you want the 2nd shot. Any of the 3 point cannons would work, and has more damage potential overall, in comparison to 1 mangler shot. Marksmanship would work for both attacks too. And if you drop to Flechette, drop experimental interface, you could plasma torp/EM the bomber. Makes it alot more deadly. I would want MKII on Ryad, but I don't see where you'd drop points, unless you're willing to drop marksmanship.

I have 33 ships, but i have played only few times - mosty my rebelion ships.

I want to try something else...and i have to limit to my owned cards. I preper my squad and post later.

I agree, you definitely want that second shot. I personally would never run with mangler or more points. I like ion cannon or tractor beam. Those are my two go to cannons for the defenders.

I was merely stating that it could be done. Not that it should be. Lol

Colonel Vessery (38) TIE Defender (35), Ion Cannon (3), Trick Shot (0), TIE/D (0)

"Deathfire" (27) TIE Bomber (17), Extra Munitions (2), Proton Torpedoes (4), Concussion Missiles (4), Long Range Scanners (0)

Drop proton torps for a bomb like cluster or conner net and you are good to go. Deathfire wants bombs!!
