There is no premier Aggressor pilot, they're all pretty mediocre. Kestal is just the best of a bad bunch.
Aggressor Dial?
they're really not that bad, nor is Kestal's ability really that standout when it's so difficult to enable/inconsistent
the base platform is solid enough; Kestal's ability isn't that great apart from the occasion game where you'll pop rau like an overipe zit

the TAPs had a 2 die primary and no real way of overcoming it in any efficient or consistent at all manner apart from the Inquisitor (also had the bafflingly overpriced baron of the empire)
Gressors have TLTs
can also combine those with cruise missiles for the unique experience of TLTs that can out alpha scouts (run two PS 5s and VI ketsal, TLTs g-chips and cruise, and an academy cause why not. can drop Ketsal to another 5 and upgrade to a blackcrack if you REALLY hate scouts)

Hell yea, Green 2 sloops and Red 1,2,3 straights. Or something like the JM5K where a 2-bank left is red, but a 2-bank right is white green, but then really throw em for a loop and make the 3 speeds of the same moves opposite colors

could be a good way for Ketsal to get mods while overcoming the dial's lack of greens. Slap on cruise so you're not worthless at range 3. Still need something for suriviability because the poor gal's gonna pop like a soap bubble.
Kestal with LW, TLT, LWF. 32 pts, and that's the budget build. Eugh. There are many other pilots I'd have at that price.

theres also only 2 named pilots...saying only 1 being good out of the "bunch" makes it mediocre is kinda bs.
TAPs outside Inqy are horribly overpriced for what they do. Theyre a tricked out TIE Fighter....who the hell cares? TIE Fighters are bad in every single way EXCEPT being dirt cheap...TAPS aint dirt cheap. Besides Inqy, who is a sniper, theres no reason to use a TAP over a TIEFighter because boost/tlock on a TIEFighter doesnt help it for jack (nor does the +1hp). Prockets are awesome, but adding price to an already expensive ship AND putting it in a really bad spot (range1 with a squishy body) is counter productive.
Aggressors have turrets, 2 missiles, and are cheap. Oooo theyre 2 agi...big freakin' deal they have a turret and innate barrelroll they can easily sweep around people and not get shot to begin with.
Unlike the TAP, we will see far more than just the top pilot. Kestal will be a thorn, but so will basic schmuks with TLTzies. The only true flop is the 2nd generic, as once again we get a higher PS generic w/o an ept (something we have seen mean complete jack squat time and time again yet they keep giving it to us)
