Aggressor Dial?

By ArbitraryNerd, in X-Wing

Anyone grab an Aggressor yet and open it up? I'm dying to see the dial!

... I feel like this is the first dial that wasn't spoiled by someone on Reddit or FB immediately prior to release.

Don't think we will see it til next week when its released.

Maybe if we asked nicely?

I'd expect to maybe see one today or tomorrow, or early next week. That's usually when we start getting early leaks.

Doesn't hurt to ask, I guess. Lol and from what i have heard is that they wont show the dial til its released. Out of each wave they do this with one ship. But i could be wrong this time. Let us keep our eyes peeled and our ears to the ground.

I'm expecting a slightly better Tie Advanced dial, with maybe a Sengor or Talon Roll. They seem to be putting those maneuvers on every other ship now.

I wish they'd just make a dial with like utterly random things missing... like it can do a 1 turn and a 3 turn but not a 2 turn or a 3 straight.

I'd like to see them make an "Ugly" that has a spotty dial like this.

Yeah, that's the perfect opportunity. Something scum and the moves are all over the place, s-loop right or t-roll left and the t-roll is green because the pilot has to spend like all his effort STOPPING the ship from flipping around to the left the whole time.

If it flies like a Scum freighter, it'll be sweet!

The Jumpmaster was - in theory - supposed to be like this: "Look, it's got an asymmetric dial!". The problem was that even the 'bad' half of the dial was still pretty good and the 'good' half was ridiculous (with an unhinged astromech every single 'left' move is green except the segnor, and that's white).

At the same time, having a ship which doesn't like flying straight sounds interesting. You should still have a straight speed 2 be green (because that's a universal rule for every ship), but having the banks be red, other straights and turns white, and talon rolls/segnors green would result in some bizarre flying patterns.

(Don't call it a TIE ugly if you do; because Twin Ion Engines MkII would undo that).

If a green 2 straight is a universal rule then it's not getting ANY 2 straight, that's blank. It has a 1 straight white or a 3 straight green, with a green 1 hard turn left.

This is an awful long way from "anyone seen the Aggressor dial" now...

I recently saw a fan-made TIE Droid that had a dial with no banks. It just had all the straights and hard turns, plus Tallon Rolls and the Barrel Roll and Boost actions. You had to put an upgrade card on it or use a specific pilot ability if you wanted to bank.

here ya go

That is a way better dial than I expected. No red turns at all. Really solid.

Does he show the missing cards?

R4E1: 1 point. You can perform actions on your [bomb] and [torp] upgrade cards even if you are stressed. After your perform an action in this way you may discard this card to remove one stress token from your ship.

Cruise missiles: attack 1 range 2-3, Attack tl no tl spend, roll up to 4 addition dice equal to the speed of your move. So if you can close to range 2-3 with a 4 or 5-speed move, this is a FIVE dice missile. Holy wow.

Lok Revenant and Wookiee Liberator both 26 w/EPT.

Cruise Missiles seem likely to be really strong, but not possible to use in a slow-roll.

How much do Cruise Missiles cost?

They might as well have called those "ArbitraryNerd Missiles," as that suits my playstyle perfectly .

That's a pretty sweet dial right there.

We need to start a new thread for all the spoils!

Am i late to the party in not knowing the PS 3 Scurg has an EPT? Did FFG learn nothing?

Yep, it's been pretty clear since the first spoilers dropped.

It'll be a LOT less bad than Jumps, even with the Cruise Missiles, just because Jumps have 2 AGI.

It's also super telling that it's 1 agiless, only 1 extra HP, and it costs a point MORE than the jump. AND doesn't have white flip, has red turns, doesn't have crew/mech together, etc etc etc. It's just comical how much the Jump is underpriced now.

Am I allowed to be upset about the unique droid that makes Atanni less susceptible to stress?
