With the impending release of the next wave of ships, and the potential power creep/crazy combos that might come out of it, how long do we think until a new FAQ drops? And what do we think might be in it? Does Biggs finally get his turn with the nerf bat?

More than likely it will come with the release of the new wave itself.
I think they will let things settle first. We already got the emergency FAQ to address this new release (Aggressor title).

Pretty much that sounds like the story based on:
Wave 10 was released February 2 and the FAQ was released beginning of March.
The FAQ could be released a month after the wave is released.
I think we may get something on release of Wave 11. Minemapper needs it for sure!
Likely before Regional season starts.
They will be within days of each other; the wave release and the rest of the "balance" FAQ.
Sometime in the month following the release.
Expecting a Biggs Nerf (once per round perhaps?) And something for the Jumpmaster, especially now that scum are getting some new archtype material in the Scurrg and coming guns for hire.
Oh, we can only hope but I think some people are forgetting how long we waited for an FAQ after the fall releases.
A FAQ settling the Minefield Mapper/Extra Munitions debate and making Jabba useable would be welcome.
Not expecting a great nerf just yet though.
I really think that biggs would go straight out of fashion if the annoying things that kill him so fast get slightly nerfed. ie, I think he will fall back into "competitive, but not OP" when the other OP stuff gets nerfed. Biggs is like a game balance monitor, when he becomes very common, it is likely that something in the game is not balanced.

If one is to understand the great mystery (FFG), one must study all its aspects, not just the dogmatic narrow view of the Forum. If you wish to become a complete and wise player, you must embrace...a larger view of the game balance.

Hoping we'll see something this time next week, maybe Friday. There are several cards which are RAW-broken right now, rather than just balance-broken, and need to be errated to actually work as intended, not least Jabba, or FAQed to confirm intent (Jabba discard/death, Jabba/Cikatro interactions, various others), not to mention balance errata which are just necessary for the top level competitive game.

You made your point that you hate x-wing many posts ago, you can stop at any time. People like you are the reason other people leave the game, forums, or both.
I play a lot of scum because starvipers, bounty hunters, and pirates are some of the old EU lore I always enjoyed. I like many other scum players have agreed to accept a modest Nerf on certain things that are currently disproportionate... But that's not enough for folks like you, who at best want to see the Nerf so bad that someone is more likely to fly a pre-mine mapper punisher over a Jumpmaster (never mind punishers are in the same category of lore but more esoteric). And at worst, you'd like to see the entire faction erased.
I do not know what the Nerf for the Jumpmaster will be but I do know that when it happens, you will be there complaining that it "isn't enough".

The game IS perfect right now, for Scum. Hell, Scum on Scum is fun as there's so many (albeit not enough) viable ships and upgrades available to them.

previous nerfs to the JM5K didn't accomplish what they should have..

Yeah, that's been a bit of a debacle.
My money is on an updated FAQ or the rumored "Alderaan Errata" dropping next Thursday/Friday.
I can't imagine they want people to get used to the new stuff if there's some hard changes actually dropping soon.

Perfect Balance - no damage can be done to any ships.
When a ship would be given a damage card, discard it. Now everything is balance, would make the naysayers happy.
