Corellian conflict Destroyed Base

By Payens, in Star Wars: Armada Rules Questions

I do not see it in the rules. but say I attack a base or outputs and I win it says that I put a Destroyed base sticker on that spot. But can I then build a base on it? Or would I then have to attack that location again to be able to build the base on it?

"Players who won a battle during the Battle Phase have the opportunity to construct a new base or outpost at the location of that battle."

Full Stop. No other requirement listed for the system, other than the base and Outpost Limit.

Replace the destroyed sticker with the Base/Rebel Presence sticker as appropriate.

When are new bases constructed? is it immediately upon the win, BEFORE gaining resources? e.g. you get to gain the resources from the newly owned planet on the same turn you got it, or do you have to wait until the next turn before you can benefit?

Who pays the 15 points to build the base, is it the player who won only, or is it from the team collectively? e.g. 5 pts for each rebel player instead of 15 from one player.

All answered in the quick reference on the back of the Rulebook :) But here it is for reference:

Management Phase
During the Management Phase, players perform the following steps in this order

1. Determine battle effects.
- winning a Battle may earn additional campaign points for the team or resources to repair and improve fleets.

2. Gain Resources
- The team counts how many locations have one of the teams bases or outposts on it. Each base generates 25 resource points for the team plus ther esource bonus listed on the location. Each outpost generates 5 resource points for the team plus the resource bonus listed on the location.

3. Construct New bases and Outposts.
- Players who won a battle at a location have an opportunity to construct a new base or outpost at that location.

4. Refit and Expand Fleets.

yadda yada.

basically, you Generate resources from bases you already own . This is totalled up and divided.

You don't get the bonus from the planet you just conquered, as you have not built a base there yet.

then , you build a base on it... And those resources come from the Player who won ... So that is after the resources have been divvied up, at least.

So you get "Paid" for this Round out of what you already had, and the base you build is before you Refit your Fleet... And that base and planet starts paying for itself next round .

Underline Italic text was missed by me, it has been placed.

Yeah, I read through it, but I didn't view this as a timeline, more over as a description of things. You're saying this is intended as a timeline

:D

Top of the Quick Reference:

THE CAMPAIGN TURN

Each Campaign turn consists of three phases, resolved in the following order .

Granted, if you only read the actual rules substance chapters, then the only basis you have for it being a timeline is the order its put in... You read from left to right, up to down, and such... It doesn't specifically state it in the rules pages. It does say to do each of the phases in order, but not necessarily to do each step of each phase in order. Its easy to see where confusion could be worded there.

But it makes it very clear on the summary on the back of book...
