No. HLC only cares about what you initially rolled. Any further modifications are free to work as normal.

This includes using a Target Lock to re-roll the dice -- if you re-roll into a crit, the crit does not change to a hit.

HLC's crit -> hit only happens once and first . After that, do whatever you want.
