Best ending to a game. Ever.

Xizor is dead.
Tel is on half health.
My opponent has a 1 hull Z-95 remaining.

I hit the Burnout SLAM, 3 bank, 3 bank.

My opponent immediately hard 3's his Z-95 off the board to stop me Gonk-ing back all Tel' shields to deny him half points. :P

Well played on his part. Clever implementation of the rules. I have never been in a tourney that competitive, but I want to. Good lesson I suppose.

Wasn't even a tournament, just a practice game. :P

I once had a YV-66 with one health remaining land between an enemy YV with one health and a Firespray with 5 left. I knew I was dead that turn no matter what so I suicided with Feedback Array to take the other YV with me for the points.

I once had a chewie near death and a TLT Y facing off against a whisper. I knew his whisper was going to go for the kill shot on my Y and then token and cloak up against my Chewie. We were near the edge of the board so I flew my Y off of the board. his Whisper now had no target so had to either focus or cloak. He cloaked and blanked out his defense. I was so excited to pull that off.

I love that story! I remember when you first posted it. So awesome. It never gets old!

well, technically he won out on that trade. The Z was probably worth what 13/14pts? Had he tried to deny you that you would have denied him in the 20s for Tel.
I mean, he lost, but he didnt lose as bad lol

I heard tales of a 1 hull Chewie (TFA) and 1 hull Z-95 who were able to kill Inquisitor when the Z-95 crashed on a rock on purpose killing himself, to allow Chewie to kill the Inquisitor before he could activate. I thought it was awesome!

One time I had PS 8 Corran against PS 9 Poe. I made a couple of mistakes and he got some damage on me. Desperate, I did a 2-turn into the corner of the board (instead of a two-bank away). It saved me one round, but after that, Poe was back on my tail...

Anyway, Poe ends up chasing me into the corner of the board, and at one point, Poe is angled 45 degrees from the board edge and probably less than a centimeter away--a 2-turn keeps him on, but not by a ton. Corran is parallel to the board edge, stressed, and has a hull and a shield; I'm not going to win. So I dial in a two-hard, leaving me on the board by about half a centimeter. Poe moves, bumps Corran, and gets blocked off the board.

I was pretty proud of that one.

I once played a game with Miranda/Stresshog/Biggs versus a Raclo/Carnor. He had killed my Biggs and his Raclo had moved into the corner to dodge my stresshog, facing the boardedge at a 45' angle towards Miranda, with Carnor closing in from behind. Then something dawned on me. I flew my Miranda 2 forward, followed by a 2 turn slam right in front of Chiraneau and drop clusters. Miranda is just barely on the board (there is no way she could stay on the board next turn). Carnor activates, flies through the bombs, dies. RAC activates, bumps Miranda, gets bumped off the board.

And that's how you kill 100 points in one round
