yey the group is growing! Can you imagine large setups in the future? Like 14 more people interested on it here in the forums?

@Truthiness

You had me and my son laughing our asses off with the Megamind Memes.

I wanted to thank you for the hilarity.

You're welcome :) I was planning that first post from the moment I got the role PM, but I originally had King John from Men in Tights as the picture. I couldn't remember what I was quoting with "Let's just have fun with this" until I had Megamind up for my own son. Once that clicked, the rest was just too obvious to resist.

Agree with Dras there, it was great!

Same. Which is why I mentioned it here.

I'll stick with playing the games for a while, I have too much of a need to talk to end up sitting in observer's

To hell with that! I had an enlightment! The force spoke to me! Sign me up for GM after JJ, I.HAVE.THE.GREATEST.SETUP.EVER

I love that everyone else is running these things.

Not in the current game and want to check out the observer's lounge? PM me.

Gonna take a break from Mafia for a bit. Work + Mafia is not a good combination for me.

Life was so much easier when I was dying.

Sign-ups for the new game.

Certainly, some of the attitudes and "playing styles" espoused by some players has completely discouraged me from playing in the past few games.

Yeah, it is a game where everyone will call you a liar and avoid your questions and twists your words and Pod talks nonsense in most his posts...

Most unfortunate. :(

I might have to bow out of the next one for similar reasons. Holy crap, I had no idea there was this much "work" involved with playing. My job productivity definitely suffered this week.

One of the reasons for longer days is so that people could post less frequently. Say in the evenings or mornings when they have free time after/before work. That way attendance is better for all, and people who either way can't post much (JJ, Norell, etc) aren't turbo'd before they can do anything.

Sadly, I don't think that works because the more "online" people are demanding you speak up or presuming you're guilty during those periods of silence. One of my comments/remarks/criticisms may be that extending the days out to 4 actually has the opposite affect; people demand that all that time be filled up with meaningful discussion.

That is a problem, but if the GM mentions that few posts/pp is expected, it may help. . .

Not this time, but generally.

Eh. I think most of us expect people to post based on their own set patterns, but like, if you are posting once a day, then that better be a good post. You don't get to chime in once every 24 hours with 2 sentences that amounts to "shrug" and not draw suspicion, because its too easy a scum play.

Oni, for example, is not a frequent poster but never gets called out on it. JJ gets turbo'd but not for post frequency. I post a bunch, and got a call out for only posting like...20 times in a 48 hour period. By ******* Oni and JJ. And you know what? Thing is, they were right. I was quiet, for my own standard. They were even right about my being scum, but not about that being causal. It was our semis and champ games for the softball season and work was busy so it was actually IRL **** getting in the way. But if you establish you arent going to be super active, but you are going to post effort posts, you'll get alone for it.
