So I've just opened my Imperial Aces box set purchased in Ontario Canada to find the pilot cards and rule cards are in German. I'm definitely not complaining but I'm guessing somewhere in Germany or Austria is someone with English pilot cards. I look forward to flying my new TIE Abfangjägers.

That's cool. I'd love to have more German cards. "*** Rot" is one of my favorite pilots!

Yes, everything else was in English. French and other languages would be cool too.

That's awesome. I wish my Canadian Interceptors were Abfangjägers.

I'd totally trade you some of my English Imperial Aces cards for your German ones if you were so inclined.

Personally, like most everyone else, I think it's pretty cool. I'd love some foreign language cards.

But if you want the English versions just contact FFG's customer support. They're fantastic about fixing mistakes with the right replacements. I've heard of people receiving entire replacement ships before when the models have been screwed up or broken in the package.

They started translating all the ship names when the mouse took over. Now we have TIE Vergelter, X-Flügler and TIE/se, TIE/eo etc. It's horrible.

But "As s Rot" is great indeed.

I have lots of german cards and would be willing to trade "Tie Abfangjäger", "Tie Jagdbomber" or whatever you guys would like to have.

In Finland we laugh at the literal and complete finnish translation of the red Core Set. They only made a small print of Cores because Finland is a small market and everybody speaks english as a second language. Now that I think of it it would have been hilarious if we had TIE Torjuntahävittäjä (Interceptor) or TIE Kehittynyt (Advanced). Almost the only reason aside of joke factor to buy the finnish core is that it's couple of euros cheaper because of EU customs regulations making it cheaper to import things printed in the official language.

Heh that remainded me of a cool game we play sometimes when doing X-wing trips with my group: we launch an android squad builder change language of cards to some language we have no idea about (like french or deutsch) and try to guess what card was read Pretty funny considering how we hurt the language while reading those

I'm not going to lie, I did try my hardest to get my hands on an Inquisitor's TIE when I went to Spain earlier this year.

Also @Ashley is infamous for confusing us with the French versions of the Firespray-31 upgrade cards.
