I was trying to be kinda quiet with that broadcast, but now that you've brought it front and center, no point beating around the bush. Probably means I'm dead tonight, but hopefully I survive long enough to use the last of my ability.

I'm the technician. Poor Nippy was my first chatmate. I'm kinda annoyed with him for not trusting me enough to tell me he was the doc. I stayed out of the Gink/Biggs showdown because I thought there was a decent chance Gink was telling the truth and I was already somehow suspect for joking around with Mad. I'm glad I didn't in the vote because I was so torn that I likely would have done the same thing Caldias did. Had he been nice enough to share his role (which is kinda understandable since the neighborizor chat is unverified), I would have jumped on the Gink train and brought that to a hammer.

Down the drain go all my thoughts, this is one of the possibilities I thought, but didn't seem that quiet, scum would have probably picked up on it, and you'd be dead anyway. Still, doesn't rule out the possibility of you being a mafioso.

Nope, definitely doesn't, which is the problem Nippy and I had.

Mad also seems very suspicious. Don't know how deep this infiltration goes but I will root it out.....eventually.

Fair enough, but you're ignoring some far more suspect folks. Caldias is my top suspect. He can try to explain all he wants, but the behavior is very scummy. He's quick to jump around on voting and tried to save Gink. I'd like @BiggsIRL to weigh in before I vote, though.

I believe we're both technicians. We definitely need to keep this hush hush. We know that the two of us are trustworthy, but we don't necessarily know that for anyone we bring in. If we do, we need to be as certain as possible.

I read Ninja’s thing as character. What else could it be? And no, I wasn’t intending to get into an argument with Gink, we’ve already hashed it out in the Day 0 Thread. If we wants to continue, I’ll redirect him there.The Mad 1.0 and 2.0 voting is so much a flimsy argument at the moment that it seems foolish to vote for either, so I’ll just watch and wait for now, seeing who to vote for tomorrow. As I’ve said countless times, I don’t like joke voting.

Character is a good cover story. His behavior beyond the character is not all the different, though, now that they’ve called him out on it. I was of the same opinion as you on joke voting before, but I’ve come around. Notice that the joke votes have kickstarted the conversation. I don’t feel a day one hanging is an absolute must, but I like what the threat does. That said, don’t get involved with the 1.0 vs 2.0 voting. It’s against your stated position on joke voting which will just make you look like scum.

But once the conversation has begun, why would everybody else have to joke vote just to joke vote? I think that after the first 3 or 4 votes, especially if they’re on the same player, the votes are no longer jokes. Why? He’s got a point. Statistically, at least 1 scum jumps on the day 1 vote wagon, so claiming that 1 of those 5 are scum is accurate.

Nope. We got paired by Onidsen. The certainty of ovi's statement is what struck me. It was also just a list full of people that are typically active on day one. It's not out of the norm for him, but his normal activity is usually pretty damned scummy

I agree that his behavior normally can be taken as scummy, given that he can subtly lead the conversation and votes by his analyses being biased, but if he’s town, his analyses are usually fairly accurate. They’re more in depth than Bigg’s Lists, which categorize people with but a sentence of explanation. Anyways, he’s at L-2 now, so we’ll see what happens. Given that I think he’s gonna die, I hope he’s scum.

Does it not seem strange to you, however, that first everybody was on the Mad bandwagon, then as soon as 1 person, who people are also suspicious of, criticized 1 post of ovi, 4 people rapidly voted him? Just because he used 1 word that expressed certainty rather than uncertainty? I can understand reprimanding him, questioning his conviction, but lynching? Just for 1 word? Something seems off, like the scum are taking advantage of his slip to rapidly lynch him. This would fit in perfectly with the idea that the Mad v Mad thing is contrived, which in turn implicates you. You did, after all, start the voting on ovinomanc3r.

It's giving some pretty good info, though. That narrows it down to either Mad, or someone pushing the Mad vs Mad thing being a tell. Caldias joining the vote on ovi to put him at -2 while saying very little has my attention. I'm not gonna call anyone on it just so we can see who is brave enough to take it even further. If we hang Ovi, and Gink is in that vote (which he currently is), it will be interesting to see him justify and deflect it.

I think he's claiming the Scout. Look at the first line. So this is gonna sound crazy, but I'd like to pull in Ovi if he survives the day. At this point he's reading pretty town. I'm keeping my vote there to see if the Scum take the honey pot. If they do it's still valuable information. If they don't, I don't trust anyone else enough to bring in. It think it should be Ovi or nobody.

Not sure I believe Gink's Doc claim. His advice for being the doc is to lay low, which he has more in this game than usual. Caldias is looking pretty fishy. Seems pretty apt to vote someone out on the thinnest pretext.
