With any game it has comes in spurts. There are large periods of time where people are sleeping or working or in this case actually playing armada (I KNOW, weird!) where chat is light, followed by a frenzy of activity. This game hasn't gone much different. Yesterday was relatively quiet, but I think today will be better as we hammer and deal with the ramifications.

Forgive my ignorance, but I'm curious how the pile up on Ginkapo is any different than the earlier pile on Ovi? It seems everyone is suddenly convinced, but I'm also a noob so what do I know?

There is no such thing as convinced day one. It's a stab in the dark, but a necessary one. Everyone defends their innocence, the idea is that when scum defend themselves they have to lie. And then, you eventually catch contradictions in those lies, or patterns, and soon as someone is suspected of lying, they go to the front of the line for lynching. The absolute worst thing a townie can do for themselves is lie.

But day one it's all about accusing as many people as possible, and making the scum lie as much as possible to back reference later.

It's largely a combination of hunches, but ovi was jumped on for his use of language, not for the post. Gink's post content is suspicious, so the difference is Gink's suspicious because of what he said, ovi because of how he said it. I ask you, which is more suspicious?

Biggs and Gink made a point:

Claiming is not too useful when Onid let the door opened to odd number of roles and its alignment.

What Biggs built from there seems too much to me.

The game must be balanced in some way. Do we really think the setup is completely random? Imagine all scummy docs against vanilla townies. No sense. Maybe both could share some lights about how setups works.

With the day about to hammer all scum need is to put some votes on someone. And Gink's wagon filled so quickly...

A couple of other things I noticed in catching up...

Biggs came in like a flash, and basically led the bandwagon on him and then vaporized away...all while claiming Smurf is "feeling good to him". Hmm seems weird as Smurf has made like 3 posts?

I had a hammerhead in range one of an ISD-1 front arc survive the shot thanks to Antilles. Tough little ships they are. He died on the ram though, after dealing 8 hull with external racks .

And Gink, I agree with you, Biggs is treading the dangerous line between lies and sarcasm. His post was obviously intended to be jokes, but scum probably would take him seriously and gank just in case it was a soft claim hiding as sarcasm. And there is no way for anyone to know if you lied yet or not. Needs time.

In the game you hosted everyone focused on the what. And it was pointless.

Its always the how which matters.

I'm not jumping on the Gink wagon. If he is indeed the doc, it would explain his *relative* quiet in this game. That was his advice to me after my game as the doc. If he flips town, I think we have to look hard at Biggs.

What I meant was that your content is suspicious, they jumped on him for his word choice. There's a difference.

Not jumping on doesnt help me in anyway. It only means your hands arent dirtied.
