Correct. I wouldn't use up the 1-shot protection if another protection was already there.

Then is quite clear. One of them is lying.
If Smurf is lying Caldias had really bad luck protecting the only one he shouldn't. And they were pretty lucky. If Caldias would have protected anyone else they couldn't build up the case.
However we win nothing keeping the jailkeeper alive. They (I really think they are two) just have to kill him and we loose anyway.
Quite sure about my vote.

Interpretation:
Right now I'm like 75-85% sure of Caldias being scum. Just on voting record alone. I was more sure, but it seems like the interactions are at least possible according to Onidsen. (If I understand them correctly). My only concern right now is the swiftness and certainty which is going around here.
That was exactly my thought too Cninj... also contemplating if Caldias is scum, who else that leaves that is #2 on the vote.
I hope we can pull this out, town. I did my best but I feel like I let us down.

Caldias has always acted like scum, which is super dumb for a scum to do.
Smurf has always been conservatively voting and participating but not really leading any charges which is fairly smart for a scum to do.
Both are newish players so could be entirely capable of playing very well or very poorly.

Bonto Kun slipped across the rooftops, his sniper rifle on his back. The sounds of the law enforcement pursuit were far behind. Somebody had the presence of mind to call in the sniper shot far quicker than they should have, but he was pretty sure they'd lost him.
He was still thinking that when the blaster bolt took his head off.

Dun N'owatodo, Ovi Wanna Bowie, and Calan Jor huddled around Six-T9, who had taken the killing shot. Recovery droids brought Bonto Kun's datapad back, and it was decrypted quickly, using the keys recovered from Kettch Nelson. The documents would take days to analyze, but one thing was immediately clear.
There was still at least one Imperial Agent left in their camp. Eying each other nervously, they turned their attention back to the datapad. Things were coming down to the wire.

Calan Jor slipped into the shadows of an alleyway. He pulled out a communicator, shading its soft glow with his other hand. With a shaky voice, he began to whisper. He turned to leave the alleyway, hoping to get back to the bright lights of the main thoroughfare. But a dark shadow blocked the alley's entrance. He turned to run, and made it two steps before he felt a searing pain in his back. Before he could even scream out, that pain was gone, and he felt nothing at all.
