Yes. Anything in the Core set comes in the Essentials.

We have no confirmation, and product images can change, but I've deduced the following:

• The two Uthuk Y'llan Unit Expansions to come with equipment upgrades is the Spined Threshers Unit Expansion and the Berserkers Unit Expansion
• The Berserkers' equipment is Corruption Rune
• One of the Spined Threshers' upgrades is the Uthuk-only Serrated Spines
• The Uthuk Y'llan currently have no access to Tempered Steel (I looked in my collection and I don't have one!)

Therefore, the Spined Threshers Unit Expansion most likely contain the following:

• Serrated Spines
• Tempered Steel
• 2x Frontline Spined Thresher
• 2x Support Spined Thresher
• either 2x of the Spined Thesher unique card or two different unique cards for Spined Threshers (I'm banking on 2 of the same)

Again, FFG has been known to change what's in a box, so this could change. I was hoping to get two copies of Serrated Spines, but now that I realize I have no Tempered Steel, I'm excited to get one of each (well, more, really, since I plan on getting a couple Spined Threshers Unit Expansions).
