So we all agree we need an official FAQ or at least official Tournament Rules. With GenCon being about a month and half away, will be get any official rulings before GenCon or will they wait til Elves are released?

I'm agree, we need official FAQ's explaining a lot of situations about clashes, terrain and abilities (Kari special ability and LoS, Ardus with archers and combar ingenuity...) I don't know how many months have passed since release date but I guess this is a good moment to do it.

Highly doubt we'll see a faq before OP rules drop. There is no technical need for one prior.

Technical need? of course it is. FAQ is a document to clarify typical questions about rules, not needed to be involved in OP. Even when playing with friends I like to play correctly and don't mistake about any rule or situation.

That is a personal/emotional need though, not a technical one. We don't need unified rules until we are playing on a unified scale. Until then agreed upon will suffice.

True but if you release a ruleset and see that it has problems or people have problems understanding the rules you should clarify them, upcoming tournament or not. Many board- and cardgames that are not played at tournaments have FAQ/Errata so why should this game be different? And a FAQ/Errata helsp people that play at different locations and people that want to host tournament.

So yes it is not technicly needed but it wouldn't hurt either.

Yeah I agree here, I don't really see them putting out an FAQ or Errata until OP rules have been out and we have messed with them for at least a few months. Also regardless of when they put out OP rules the FAQ will probably wait until all 4 factions are out so they don't constantly put out documents...

Is there a list out of all current questions that may require an FAQ?
