Rey + uhm....I don't know?

Maybe I'm missing something but can one of you guys explain the usefulness of countermeasures? For 3 points a one turn +1 agi and removing a single TL it hardly seems worth the points.

Wouldn't engine upgrade be better? (And no snuggling compartment/ scavenging crane).

I really wanted to make a Rey/Poe list work. But I've always struggled.

I think on it's own, it's just a means by which a large-base ship can avoid a missile/torp shot. Combined with Scavenger Crane, you're guaranteed to be able to use it twice and have a good chance to keep using it. Throw in Finn and Rey's ability and now you've made a pretty tanky Rey for any round of combat in which you triggered CM.

I've played Rey with EU, and I honestly don't see a lot of value unless I'm running away, in which case I'm probably already in trouble and should just try to flip around and face the music with more dice/mods. If I'm chasing something with EU, then they are probably in trouble and I already have things handled. I just don't think Slooping Rey needs EU.

I played another game with my Determination Rey/Poe list today against a Krassis/Delta x7 Defender/Countdown list and both Determination and CM came well into play. I nuked the Firespray before it ever got to fire it's torps due to CM stripping the TL and the last damage on Rey was going to be a Stunned Pilot, which was disgarded and left her at 1 hull. I was kind of in a hurry (and had the game pretty much in hand) and forgot a second CM trigger or Rey might have even survived until the end of the game. One thing I absolutely need to get better at judging is when to spend the focus for offense and when to save it for defense. I almost always spend it until Rey gets in trouble and could possible help her live longer, and do more damage over time, if I'm more fugal with it.

With BB8 B1 Poe you can shed TLs off so maybe that's a way to save points for a different upgrade than Countermeasures? I like determination though. A lot cheaper than expertise but less reliable damage. Maybe you don't need Kanan if you don't have expertise? Then go for Chewie?

The range 1 restriction on Black One is too restrictive, if you ask me. I fly Poe as a flanker with this list and often find myself bugging out...I can't rely on T-rolls to stay in the fight without Pattern Analyzer.

That Kanan/Chewie switch is really interesting. It's basically 2 points of damage mitigation and could prevent a painful crit, actually two since the next point of damage would be against shields. On the counterpoint, in the SC I did find Rey stressed a few times, so the Kanan/Sloop interaction was really useful to remove the starting stress, sloop, then gain new stress. Going that route might lead back to what @SOTL said about a switch from Rey to Han. I hate relying on naked rerolls and with this switch it would probably be too detrimental to Rey's damage output to make up for the extra tankiness.

I want to try this list. Not bc i think itd be good bc it probably won't as it has low hitting power, i just think itd be fun.

Can switch things out like putting SD instead od countermeasures, different crew or illicit. Or use hotr title on Rey instead of evade title. But basic idea is the same. I put jarrus and IR to help with stress but depending on the exact list build both might not be needed.

Take evade action and focus preferably and reinforce with lowh. Guess with c3p0, add finn die and reroll another if needed, add evade from lowhs ability. Makes for a potential of 2 evades added from c3p0 and lowh, 1 evade token, and 2-5 die evades depending on range and obstructed. So a lot of evaded shots.

You can use all in one shot if needed or split c3p0, your evade token and lowhs ability into several shots depending on opponents attack dice.

This list will have a hard time killing ships fast so targeting comp or whatever its called might need to be subbed in on the auzituck.
