Demo moves > attacks > Engine Tech = legal?

By Muelmuel, in Star Wars: Armada Rules Questions

Essentially the topic title. With the new errata, can I still maneuver Demo, then attack after my first maneuver, and finally engine tech for a second maneuver of 1speed?

Demo: "During your activation, you can perform 1 of your attacks after you execute your first maneuver."

Engine Techs: " Icon Command Navigate.png : After you execute a maneuver, you may exhaust this card to execute a speed-1 maneuver."

Timing seems to be the same for both, after the first maneuver. So I can resolve Demo first then Engine techs? Or no?

Thanks for the help

Yes, you can Engine Techs after doing a Demo Shot, after your first Maneuver.

But you can no longer Demo after Engine Techs.

So for Full Clarification, these are options if you wish to utilise Engine Techs:

Attack - Attack - Move - Engine Techs
Attack - Move - Attack - Engine Techs
Move - Attack - Engine Techs
Move - Engine Techs

Thanks much!

So as I understand it, the aim of the errata was to reduce the range of demo's first attack, but ability to double ram with ET remains the same.

Essentially, yes.

Yes. Also, the ability to optimize/double-check your range and firing arc after moving. Now you need to be reasonably confident that you're going to be in range/arc before your move.
