Pretty new here still but I just noticed in the Upcoming section that they updated the release date today for the Wave VI expansion to 7/6. Just wondering how reliable this info has been for past releases?

The Latest Update was updated, but the actual
content
of the Date for US release did not change. It was stated last week that the US Release Date was going to be the 7th - so
that
part of it isn't New News
This is a background update - which probably means its met some background milestone or some such, that we are not directly privileged to.
(As an Example - they updated to Shipping Now when it was all completely received at FFG and began shipping out to US and International Distributors... The date is now updated a second time - ie, now - when the US Based Distribution has been completed, as an example... It doesn't change any information for us, as the Release Date is still the Release Date, but a shipping checkbox on the system has been completed )
The US Release Dates are virtually guaranteed US Release Dates. They don't say it unless they're going to hit it, barring natural disaster, basically.
US release dates should be followed very quickly worldwide. But its not guaranteed.

This would ship today to hit distributors and then retailers before next Thursday/Friday given that Tuesday is a holiday in the US. You still won't be getting these for the weekend.

If your Preorder was handled UK Side, then its handled by Esdevium, and, well, they're subject to stuff in the Outside-of-the-US market.
Same as I have here in Canada... There's no guarantee we'll have release date on time - so could be another week or two, who knows...
Yeah the word I got was late in the month. Bit of a let down, but hardly life threatening.

Yep, quite a few of those rumours around.
One person I know said they have it already... But are sitting on their hands and their copy until closer - since they were not supposed to have it, and it getting out there would expose their source...
We'll see final details soon.

with as many people out there that say they have access to these now I'm amazed that the Quad's haven't been leaked.
Edited by dominosfleetFFG doesn't take kindly to leaks like that. It's a fast way to be blacklisted from distribution. X-wing had some issues with that in the past.
