Quick question on Jamming Field: does it affect keywords like Counter and Snipe?

If no, does that mean Counter is not an attack and is defined as its own thing?

But Snipe is considered an attack, so if withingrange of the field, it should be affected.

It affects both. Both snipe and counter are attacks, and are treated as such in all respects, to include Jamming Fields.
