Hi guys! Ok, lets say I have placed a card from my hand into play and paid for it. I then attack with the card and exhaust it. The card survives the engagement.

When my turn comes back around I refresh my card and remove the focus token(s). "In order to replay the card as an attacker, do I have to continue to spend the required resource number on the card or is it free after the initial resource match."

I'm not sure if I understand your question correctly.

The resources are spent to put the card into play. Once the card is in play, you don't have to pay it's cost anymore

Lets say I'm at my refresh phase, and I have removed all focus tokens from my unit cards. If I want to attack again with my unit cards, do I have to pay for them again utilizing the focus tokens and the objective cards?

No, you only pay to deploy the unit, while it's in play you don't have to pay anymore for it
