Request for Peacekeeper_b (or others): re Necrons and Hrud

By graver2, in Rogue Trader Gamemasters

Peacekeeper_b, as it seems Unearthed Apocrypha has gone the way of the Dodo with no sign of showing back up, I was wondering if you could find it in your heart to post up your fan supplements for Necrons and the Hrud possibly on Mediafire or anouther free file host (and then posting the link here) or, failing that, email them to me at graver13x(at)gmail.com. I love the work you've done on other supplements and I had thought I had those on my hard-drive, but no dice. I remember reading the Necron one (I think it was yours) and felt it was really well thought out gem, I just never had the chance to use any of it until now. So, any chance you could help me out and share your work?

In the off chance that Peacekeeper_b has no heart, if anyone else has any work done on either of those two races, i would really, really, really, love to have some more info and stats sometime soonish. I just got done reading Xenology (go-go ebay!) and it has sparked some ideas. Likewise, but not as imperative, if anyone's actually sat down and worked on the Umbra and want to share it with the rest of us, namely me, that would be several levels of groovy.

Hey, good to see nice levels of Xenology interest!

That's the 'Umbra' thread over in DH, it covers a 'sample' background for folks who're not familiar with 'em and also has my suggested rules for the wee blighters. So far, so good. A ~5500XP Templar Calix had a bit of difficulty offing one, mainly due to perils of the warp and had to be saved by a Dispater Assassin with holy chainsword (made exceedingly light work of it).

The rules are a bit...floatly, and the invocation/spawning of the Ebon Geist is simply an abstraction thing to show the Umbra getting really worked up and throwing everything a shadow has at the characters. Used Psy Powers from both DH and RT, so it needs a bit of fudging, but I think it works. Suggestions included opting for 'pyrokine' powers but using shadow instead of flame; I 'spect that'd work too.

A big thing for RPing the encounter, for me, was focussing on the 'images in folks heads'. Fear, lingering, mortal wounds, rage, bloody-handed murder, battle, violence, fragments...
