What is going on the Boat carrying Ghosts of Dathomir?

By MitchPelon, in Star Wars: Force and Destiny RPG

The shipment was stolen by bothan spy net agents and ffg retaliated by removing bothans from future books starting with the German version of the AoR core book.

The greatest trick the Bothans ever pulled was to convince Disney that they didn't exist.

Loving the unusual suspects paraphrase

Disney put a C and D order on it until The Han Solo Cronicles are out because they have some material that will be conflicting.

Conversely ffg has had to enter into aggressive negotiations with Disney to renew their license to print sw materials and Disney is using supreme reflect and supreme parry and we will have to see who runs out of strain threshold first.

... it would be a lot easier to just put out a pr to say what the issue is and how long it will be impacting the aor eote and fnd materials that are being delayed. Better for customer relations too.

Sources? From what I understand, FFG's safe with the license until 2021.

With so many people writing to support and getting different answers, you betcha a truthful release would be most welcome!

Sources? I have no sources... I was just following in the vein of this thread and putting out... improbable possibilities...

Course they could be closer to the truth than others or farther from... Who knows...

I just want FO and ship building rules for my artisan... and ghosts would be nice too... I always look forward to the toys that come in the books.

By aggressive negotiations you mean negotiating with a light saber right?

What other kind of aggressive negotiations is there?

I sure hope that ffg wins the battle... I am so tired of waiting to build my custom star fighter... and maybe I'll throw in a corvette just for kicks.

If they take too much longer I'll have to home brew rules for it.

Has anyone else noticed some of the in development books have disappeared from the news part.

Huh? No they haven't, they've just aged off the front page.

they were now they are gone.

Were those pages ever there? I mean, maybe they posted the news but didn't create the product pages yet?

They were there, https://www.fantasyflightgames.com/en/products/star-wars-force-and-destiny/ still links to it in the "Star Wars Roleplaying Supplements" section.

Apparently no one watched that Rebels episode when the ghosts of dathomir nightsisters took over Kanan & Sabine's bodies placing he and Ezra in a battle.

If that can happen to a Jedi Master what do you think happened to the crew?

Well, technically, Kanan isn't a Jedi Master. He was just knighted in season two.

I have to rain on this parade (because every time I bring it up other people rain on mine). The bothan line was from Mon Mothma in Return of the Jedi , and pertained to the second Death Star.

I bring this up often in my gaming circles because I have a working theory that postulates bothans are alternative fuel source to rhydonium. That theory does not remove the accepted knowledge that bothans are sentient. It just makes it more interesting when I refer to Mak Eshka'rey (while playing Imperial Assault) as "the fuel source." Then I'll pick up a cup and remark, "Many bothans died to bring us this latte."

It was many Bothans that died.It was a single individual, Manny Both'Ans, Rebel superspy who died.

Sigh, I ordered this book along with a few other things nearly a half a year ago. Starting to think I should just say to **** with it and cancel it.

That way I could still get the other stuff before the year ends.

"The name is Bo. Manny Bo Tanz. I am an Information Acquisition Expert."

Manfried Botfeldt-Danziger was his real name but everybody called him Manny Bo Tanz.

Yeah, I preordered on 12/20/2016 and I just get cheery non-answers from FFG support when I ask for an update.

And Namor keeps trying to metagame.

"Imperious Rex! You dare declare Namor, Prince of Atlantis, a metagamer? You shall pay in blood!"

Don't worry, I'm sure the Demeter will arrive will arrive with our books any day now...

I heard they're using a zeppelin, it's called the Hindenburg.
