Purify your body with holy fire, losing as much flesh as is necessary. Then, become an oblationist, since you are already damned.

Seriously though, talk to your GM. A good GM probably won't stall on giving you your mutation if it's heading that way, but he'll generate good roleplaying opportunities for you from your character's calamity.

Well, our GM lets the dice fall where they may, but he hands out corruption points fairly easily. It's only a matter of time before I fail a malignancy test.

I think my first step is to grab Armor of Contempt to stave off the inevitable for a while. I'm now at 13 corruption points. We were tempted with a few opportunities to gain more corruption last night and passed. Ignorance is bliss in the service of the Emperor, after all.

I am going to start pouring through my hefty collection of Dark Heresy tomes to see what my options are. If mutated, I do think I'll head down the path of purging the mutation and becoming more zealot-like in my attempts to purge mutation and Chaos from the Imperium. Flagellation, as mentioned in an earlier post is a definite for me as well.

We'll have to see where things lead.

Our group really does have a good GM. Great storytelling aspects, but the man does like to give out insanity points and corruption like it's candy.

I'm still open to other ideas if they're out there though

I like-ah me the candy. babeo.gif BTW, how many Fate Points did the party collectively burn this past game? Four, was it? The Psyker, the Guardsman (twice), and me if I recall correctly. Stupid "SCUBA Steve" tentacly Chaos Marine type-thing... And bloody damned sorcerer of Tzeench.
