New cards for the new rules

By hippy777, in Star Wars: Armada

Does anyone know if FFG is going to offer a method to purchase replacement cards (for rhymer etc)

Are any of you planning on just printing the new cards out of the PDF and slipping them into your plastic sleeve along with the original card ? (That's how I was planning on doing it if I can zero in on the correct print scale / size)

I see there was actually a thread under the rules section talking about this so it's a double post. Sorry about that guys. Though I could ask if any of you out there have a tool already for printing the new cards at the right size or if not a tool, a 'method' that works well

?

photo shop lets you size a print

I simply print out a copy and either glue it to the card or put it in the plastic sleeve as I allways do.

I proxy cards I don't own or have too few of all the time and would never spend money on something so stupid as cards, I only by the models for the models... The cards I really don't care for at all since I can use a printer to simulate them anyway.

I have spent enough money on this game as it is...

If they do so, they could also add cards from other factions ships to the the mix. Like the Ion cannons in the VSD. Its so annoying to play with "Black Market" home printed cards, not to mention it can be a reason to be banned at a tournament.

Thanks for the responses everyone :)

I ended up snipping the images out of the PDF, editing in ACDSEE photo editor to a specific mm size and then putting them in a PDF so that the print would keep the size correctly and printed off pages of them that way. seems to have worked pretty well. Im stuck at a remote site for another week so Im not 100% sure I have the sizes correct but I think I do . (did 40x60mm for the small upgrade cards and I think it was 60x85 for the green objective cards)... something like that I can't remember the exact numbers I used yesterday.

Link plz

This is unlikely to ever happen. The cross faction cards are part of their business model. Its a big part of the reason why I would never want a third faction in Armada.

Rhymer is a top-64 prize at Nationals, hopefully that'll have the updated text ;)
