Serious selling point for the steam-controller: You can play the old SW flight sims with it. Very well, even! There is an excellent configurations that maps every bind that you need (don't think you can save targets into quick-select, but that is about it) by utilising the touchpads as a collection of buttons. TIE Fighter is adequatly playable from a sofa, let that sink in! I have never been more happy with my purchase of the steam controller, this is something neither kb+m nor other controllers can provide.
Now that I don't have to use the aweful X-Box 360 controller configuration where you had an annoying amount of input lag and severly reduced options for targeting computer control, I can finaly see just how great this game truly is. I played through the first battle yesterday and oh man am I ready for my subscription to the church of Gunboat! The depth, the theme, I can't believe what I have been missing!
