I recently purchased The Force Awakens Beginner Game and would like to run an in-person game locally. I am not an experienced GM or the world's most knowledgeable Star Wars lore buff, but the system seems awesome and I am dying to play.

I live near the Comic Book Depot in Bellmore (Nassau County) though I am not sure if they are RPG-friendly and seem busy most of the time with Magic and the like. That said, I have known the owner for years and can ask if there is a time when we can play there. Alternatively, we could meet at Game Master Games in Hicksville. That also happens to be where I got the game.

My availability is pretty open through the end of July (I am on leave from work) and from August on, nights and weekends will be best. Happy to do a full campaign if the group clicks! I am also open to a different Beginner Game if anyone would prefer a different SWRPG ruleset. Please let me know if you are interested!

So, unfortunately, the first session was cancelled suddenly after two people dropped out today. One of our players is still interested, however, so if anyone else in the area - experienced or not - would like to join us, please let me know and we will make arrangements for a game day or night!
