I think Lethal is +1 damage
Yay Uthuk Yllan
(or +x damage, for Lethal X)

You almost need a deployment like that to get much use out of Ravos' army rule. I was a little disappointed by that, it seems kind of weak and is completely countered by Hawthorne's skill.
Actually, speaking of resembling Aliens, I present the Killer Crab Alien.
Doesn't that look a lot like our new friend fiend, Spined Thresher?

Man, do I miss that toy.
On the plus side, if Malaana does not get to ride her scorpion, at least we have this pseudo-scorpion-looking* thing for the Uthuk.
*But it's not a pseudoscorpion .
Fun Facts about Flesh Rippers:
Flesh Rippers are (so far) the only unit that can charge out of terrain.
Flesh Rippers actually can't stay in terrain longer than 1 turn unless physically prevented from leaving.
Flesh Rippers are the only unit that can effectively hedge their bet on a charge (at distance 1) by dialling in an attack and knowing that they will be able to engage that distance with the automatic movement, or, if charged, still get an attack.
Flesh Rippers can damage multiple engaged units, and seem to be the bane of 1d/1w infantry everywhere.
Yeah the pre-move 1fwd is weird, and since in this game a March is straight unless mentioned you can modify it with a turn/wheel/charge, it means that could easily get them in trouble if you arent careful.
For instance, sending them at a unit thats hugging the edge of the board could EASILY send them off the board afterwords.

You can't go "off the board."
The edges of the play area are obstacles. Walls, effectively.
Wait, what? I missed that lol. Literally every game has that rule so i didnt even look for it in this one.

Right, you treat the board edge like an obstacle. So if you hit it, you may lose a round reforming, but you don't go off the board edge. Obstacles (59.1 in the rules reference) lists the board edge as an obstacle.
Yeah the end of the board is an obstacle you can collide with
I've been playing it like PAC-MAN. If you go off one edge, you re-enter on the opposite edge.
WHOA! I totally missed that you can choose to deal 2 damage to your Berserkers to add 2 damage to the damage pool. At threat of 3, you're dealing 6 damage, plus whatever you roll, If you roll max damage on the dice (3 damage), you're dealing 15 damage without even using any upgrades!
I wonder why this core is $10 more than the elves...

Because the hero is a siege unit? I don't think that matters in production, but in game terms it may make it a more powerful army out of the box.

I think that's the new objective card. "Death of the flat-earthers"

ARE YOU FLIPPING KIDDING ME?!
(I got some expendable money and spent down to $60 to save for the Uthuk Y'llan anticipating they'd be the same price as the Latari. That price had better change. There's no reason for this to cost more. It has about the same amount of stuff.)

Damage, not hits.
Hits are multiplied to add the total number of Damage. The berserkers can only add 1-2 damage at the cost of 1-2 wounds, not 1-2 hits (which would be 3-6 damage at threat3)
Also yeah i dont get why its 10USD more. Ravos being a siege doesnt mean much.. he's literally 2.5x the plastic of a standard infantry, 10USD difference that is not (more like a dime in production at absolute worse)

Or maybe because he's a ton more plastic than Aliana? Though those single-unit hero mounds are a decent sized.

Lethal adds damage, not hits. Damage doesn't get multiplied by threat, it goes right into the damage pool.
EDIT: Derp,
@Vineheart01
beat me to it.
Is it hits or damage?
This article says hits - https://www.fantasyflightgames.com/en/news/2017/4/10/guardians-of-the-deepwood/
This one says damage - https://www.fantasyflightgames.com/en/news/2017/5/22/the-fury-of-the-forest/

It's damage.
It adds the Lethal keyword.

It has little to do with the amount of plastic, and a lot to do with what you get for the game. The Infantry Command Unit Upgrade packs cost the same for 4 figures as a pack of infantry with 8 figures. We're paying for the new molds, and especially for all the cool upgrades cards that expand our game.
Similarly, the siege units are $35 for 2 trays, because they represent a bigger impact to the game than 2 trays of infantry.
That's my take on it. There's a premium for buying stronger units/upgrades, which is why the Uthuk box costs more.
Ignore the article calling it out, remember articles tend to flop the rules alot.
Maegan's card has the actual text on it (using Nature runes instead of a number). It says Damage.

So basically, my Berserkers just did 6 damage to your Rune Golem, and I think, "That thing's gotta go - I'll sacrifice two of my figures to make sure that thing doesn't get to attack me back with Brutal 2." Seems like a valuable, if situational, ability.
