As I mentioned before, our goal was to do a straight-up damage/health per point comparison and nothing else, so taking the numbers as anything other than that would put more importance on them than we intended.

Ok. So I can follow the damage per cost and just quantifying absolutes. The part I didn’t go for is the averaging of all the tray sizes. Though that may have been a concession to time for the podcast. It edoes (already admittedly) short the Reanimates a bit as a morale modifier with two red dice isn’t something to just laugh off.

For a Damage output analysis, I would compare the 12 Tray Reanimates to 9 Tray Spearmen and Berserkers with the frontline siege units. Really, Waiqar are payng 14 for 12HP (+regen) of unsnipable guys to get +1 threat. Daqan pay 7 for a snipeable 8 HP of +Stable threat. Uthuk pay 7 for an (essentially) unsnipeable 10HP +1 Threat.
