we only had four players, with the other Imperial being my bud Destraa (he posted his list on the store championship thread in main).

first match was against rebels, flying Sato on an MC80, a shrimp, couple of transports, two YTs, Tycho and Shara. He chose first player and picked my hyperspace assault, so Insidious and Boba lurked in hyperspace. After one pass his shrimp was gone past and took no further part in the fight and I managed after coming out of hyperspace to trap his pickle between all three Gladiators. Dead pickle, but he did kill my Demo. My fighter cover made short work of his squadrons, and I won 8-3.

second game was against Destraa. Now, he is my usual local playing partner, and knows my very aggressive style.....so I faked him out. He went first and picked dangerous territory. I placed Insidious way off on my left flank, decoying one of his ISD out of the fight, while avoiding engagement and merrily collecting all the objectives. After offing his Raider, managing to kill the Gozanti he had Motti in, killing his two ace squadrons and collecting 90 points in objectives, won 8-3 without a single loss.

third and final game was against rebels. In fairness this was the TO who had to throw a list togheter at the eleventh hour so we could have enough players (several folks had to cancel at the last minute due to work issues). He was flying a pickle with Ackbar on board, two shrimps (all loaded like Xmas threes) and two generic Awings with Rogue squadron in support. He went first, chose hyperspace assault from my list. Insidious and Boba again went into hyperspace. He set up way to my left flank, and I think was worried about Insidious because he kept his pickle creeping at speed one while both shrimps flew at speed four directly at me. I slowe to speed one (!!!!!!) and waited for him to come to me, while my squadrons took apart his meager air cover. After one pass, he managed to kill demo, but both shrimps died to combination Glad fire and bombing from Defenders, and I brought in Insdious on turn three (actually on the marker farthest from his pickle) to finish off Gial on the last turn. His MC80 did get a shot at my flagship with a crit that, had I pulled structural damage, would have killed it and swung the game to a 6-5....but I pulled some crew damage instead, and tabled him for a 9-2 win.

very fun times, took first place and bunches of loot, my bud Destraa came in second with his dual ISD list. Glory to the Empire.
