Anything that is one or two points over. Or, toss on a few small upgrades in otherwise unused slots, like a BMST, or other cheap situational upgrades.

Or, Unique Crew and Unique pilot in the same list. Boba and Boba, Unkar and Unkar, Zuckuss and Zuckuss...something unobtrusive where both aren't already big in the meta. Chopper and Chopper (especially good as you can "pretend" you didn't realize, you "forgot" since Chopper is a 0 point and he goes on everything).

"Ship with high PS but no EPT-slot has an EPT anyway" is always a classic. I remember running into a VI Horten at some small tournament in the 3. round.

If I remember correctly I saw someone use ACD and Stygium Particle Accelerator at the same time on a TIE Phantom.

I think most common ones are named pilots that aren't supposed to have EPTs be equipped with them.

I once played a guy with fcs on a firespray. It was round 4, lol.

My son (10 at the time) played all the way into a final of a weekend FLGS tourney with Juke on Scum Boba Fett. No one noticed until, at the awards ceremony, it was made known how much having Juke helped him in his games. He finished second, losing in the finals.

22 players, some of whom were very experienced, totally missed it, as did his dad, the guy he beat in the top 4 game to get to the final.

Played a guy with a Firespray bomber with extra munitions... And no title to give him the torpedo slot for the extra munitions. I mean, technically the points still add up had he the Slave One title... But without it...

Mostly happens in tournaments from people who declare themselves as computer illiterate and refuse to spend 3 minutes learning how to use YASB.

At Regionals this year, I played against a guy who had Tail Gunner on his VCX-100. It's not technically illegal, but it does nothing at all because the VCX-100 has a rear special arc, not an auxiliary arc. Apparently, by the time I played him in round 4 or 5, no one had noticed and called him on it yet. I called the judges, and they ruled that since it was a technically legal build, he could continue to fly it, just with the knowledge that the Tail Gunner does nothing. I couldn't prove that it had been helping him win earlier games, but honestly, if I was a TO at that regional, I would have been tempted to check with his prior opponents and DQ him if he'd ever used it in a match that day.
