Holy Snap

Snapshot is one of those upgrades that on their own isnt that great.
When massed, they can be a real problem
When massed AND on mobile platforms, they can be a bigger threat than the main attack.

Two Greenwings with Snap, PTL, VT, Chaarrefit, and Title are a staple for my rebel lists. So many people make the error of assuming theyre just a distraction and they gun for Norra, Rey, or Hyperdash theyre paired with. Then the greenwings shred them while the "real threat" just plays keep away lol.

Its easily one of my favorite upgrades because its such an underdog ability. NOBODY expects it to actually matter until it causes you to basically kill yourself by flying into my face. Then they start playing super, super defensively doing all they can to avoid that front arc, often losing their shot in the process and i still get mine or i can chase them now with ease.

snap develops some wicked combo's, it's really fun!

Usually I only get 1-2 damage through from both A-wings during activation, but hey that was 1-2 damage I didn't have earlier. It gets more fun when you start stacking.

Juke/Snap on an A-wing is my favorite. it's even more fun with Jan Ors. So a PS 7 or lower moves, gets snapped, I can boost the snap to 3 dice with Jan Ors. Jan moves @ PS8 and clears the stress to allow her to boost another attack during combat phase. I think on Friday I moved 15 dice in one round taking down a ship and a half. Good fun, good fun indeed.

Jess Pava w/Swarm Leader and 2+ Snap/Juke A-wings is a terror. It has holes, but it can sneak up on you.

Its great on low PS ships, but many low PS ships cannot equip it since EPT is infrequently found on low PS pilots.

Why hello there Snap thread...

Snap is amazing but I've found you need 2 buddies.

1. You need ops specialist for when your dice aren't hot with snapshot.

2. Really you need to fly A wings so you can pair snapshot with Juke or Crackshot.
