List building for 111-point tournament

By natertots, in X-Wing Squad Lists

So, I'm no good at this game (yet), but nevertheless I'm making plans to fly reeeeeeeeeeeal casual (and likely get murdered instantly) at a 111-point hangar bay format tournament tomorrow. This represents a couple of firsts for me:

  1. First tournament
  2. First time flying imperials (since through bargain hunting, I've finally gotten enough stuff to make 100+ points of imperials, after only playing Rebels for a while)
  3. First time playing anything other than 100-point games, which is causing a paralyzing surplus of new choices and possibilities.

So, I'd love some list ideas, or critiques about what I've been able to build, or new ideas for some goofy stuff I can do. These lists below involve some proxied upgrade cards, but I've decided not to proxy any ships or pilots, so please keep that in mind. The ships I'm working with are:

Decimator, Phantom, 3 TIES (one being Sabine's), and 2 TIE/FOs.

My goals are to have some fun, play each of the 2 lists at least once, pull off a couple of clever moves I can be proud of, and maybe, just maybe, not lose every match.

1. Fat Oicunn + Phantom Escort

Captain Oicunn (67)
VT-49 Decimator (42), Predator (3), Proton Bombs (5), Rebel Captive (3), Emperor Palpatine (8), Dauntless (2), Engine Upgrade (4)

“Whisper” (44)
TIE Phantom (32), Gunner (5), Fire-Control System (2), Veteran Instincts (1), Advanced Cloaking Device (4)

2. Aces, but more of them.

“Mauler Mithel” (20)
TIE Fighter (17), Ruthlessness (3)

“Zeta Ace” (21)
TIE/fo Fighter (18), Weapons Guidance (2), Veteran Instincts (1)

“Echo” (39)
TIE Phantom (30), Fleet Officer (3), Fire-Control System (2), Advanced Cloaking Device (4)

“Night Beast” (15)

“Dark Curse” (16)

Thanks!

I'm too distracted by the list building rule -- Why 111?

This organizer had put up an online poll saying he wanted to give the tournament a little twist of some kind, and put up a few choices for what that could be. The choices that got enough votes were for the 111-point format, for the 2-list Hangar Bay format, and also for Jumpmasters to be banned.
