Fenn Rau is stock standard (and amazing.)

Dengar, on the other hand, is illegally built. You can't have Engine Upgrade and Guidance Chips. They take the same modification slot, and Dengar isn't piloting a Vaksai.

The idea with Dengar you're going for, from what I could tell, is to get rerolls but spend your Tagret Lock anyway, either on the plasma torpedoes or R4-B11. Not bad in theory, but the top power level for Dengar is so high, and I think this misses the mark. Probably still pretty strong, all told.

The problem I have writing up Fenngar lists is that, starting with just the two ships and the Punishing One title (because obviously), you have 29 points to spent on 2 ships, one of which doesnt have a glut of upgrade slots.

My answer? Sunny Bounder in a Light Syck. Much easier to choose a smart 17 points of upgrades than bloat with the most expensive options available, and you get a plucky little blocker in the bargain who can pull off some weird spikes due to her ability.

Something to think on.

Dengar, Fenn, and Inaldra all Mindlinked is now the best Dengar/Fenn squad out there and does what everyone wanted Fenngar to do. If you have the C-Roc I suggest giving that a try.

Thanks and yeah i did overlook some of the upgrades for the list during editing and thanks for pointing this out. Yesterday i was wondering if my 2 ships list as it was in my mind may have been just a little too juicy of targets. I m eyeing the idea for Sunny Bounder or even Inaldra as a third ship.

Sunny and Inaldra are both valid, and better yet build into completely different squads. Long story short: Inaldra=Attanni Mindlink (PROMOTIONS!) all around, Sunny=whatever EPT you care for EXCEPT MINDLINK on Dengar and Fenn Rau. Interesting stuff.
