Can anyone Explain me how agenda deck works?

Can anyone explain me how agenda deck works? I understand it includes skill cards and quests to bring imperial allies.

But I dont quite get it. The quests must be played during the side missions in campaign. But the heroes must also draw from the deck to play a quest, if I play a mission agenda card do I must force the heroes to play it? or they still choose? and if so, what if they refuse my agenda quest, do I automatically get the rewards for them not playing it?

If you purchase a side mission from your agenda deck, the heroes have the option to play it and try to prevent you from getting the reward. If they play a different side mission instead, then you get the reward after that side mission automatically. Note that you can buy these missions at any time, but they will only be resolved when a side mission is played (if you buy one, and then the heroes have to play a story mission, you do not get the reward after that mission. You need to wait until they play a side mission, either the one you bought or a different one). This means that if you buy 2 at the same time, the heroes will not be able to stop both of them. But that doesn't happen very often.

Also note that some agenda cards are Forced Missions. These are different than the side mission cards because the heroes must play them, and they do not take up a side mission slot. You still only get the reward if you win.

Btw, the agenda side mission card says what to do. (If the rebels resolve any other side mission, the agenda side mission card gives the reward automatically after the mission.)

Each Agenda Set has three cards in it.

At the start of a campaign, the Imperial Player picks six sets and shuffle them together to make the Agenda Deck (18 cards total)

In the Imperial Upgrade step the Imperial Player will draw four cards from the Agenda Deck and can purchase any of those he drew for Influence, a currency gained in addition to xp.

If the Agenda Card purchased is a Side Mission, it is put into play next to any other active missions (Story and/or Side Missions)

When the Rebel Player(s) next must to select a Side Mission, the have to choose between their other Side Missions and the Imperial Side Mission. If they resolve any other Side Mission, the Imperial gets the reward for the Imperial Side Mission without needing to play and win it.

If the Agenda Card purchased is a Forced Mission, it is resolved immediately. It becomes the next mission the players encounter, but does not take up a Side Mission slot or Story Mission slot.
