I've purchased two of every expansion ... the exception being Wave 1 (I only purchased 1 of each) cuz I already had multiple cores. I may go with just one of each this time, buuuut ......... I always buy 2.

I think it is already confirmed for 6th July, dont know if its a world release or it will take a couple of extra days to have it in Europe.

I honestly dont think I'll get more than 1 pack of hammerheads. The non-unique titles sounds trash to me, I think there will have a very low impact in the table top.

So if I ever run more than 1HH that is not a lifeboat it would be Garels Honor title in one and the expensive version of this unique title wich is Flight commander + boarding engineers to basically have the same effect as Garels Honor right after ramming.

I think the FAQ and errata may also cause these releases to sell less. The Hammerheads were pretty much sold on the idea that you could run a whole bunch of them as a ramming fleet, but the Riekeen change may have neutered that.

The Rhymerball has been hurt with the change to Rhymer so people aren't sending him forward with Squall to get these long-range (ok, ok, close-medium) shots on the enemy in an alpha strike.

I'm sure there's more that made them less appealing, but I'm hearing a lot of talk about Sloan and absolutely nothing else from my group.

I think the hit to Rhymer and Riekeen were designed to shift the game away from a massive bomber fight to squadrons shooting and killing one another.

So now you shift away from y-wing spam and front load with X-wings/Tie's of whatever flavor...

Still, I think Flotilla's need to be messed with more, but I'll wait and see before I clamor armada is dead.

but yes. Really all the hype I hear now is sloane. Some half hearted leia (very expensive ) and a little bit for red AA. As an AA connoisseur I'm very skeptical on how much it'll push down my massive spending in the AA fighters. (Of course totally healthy meta righhhhtttt? And triangular Rock Paper Scissors mechanic)

I finally pre-ordered 2 of each. Now hopefully I have the money to pick them up when they release...

I'm still thinking only 1 of each. and mostly only cuz theyre kind of iconic. I have no idea what I would build with them.

Interestingly, I just tried to add another Quasar to my pre-order and was told they wouldn't be shipped until "after 20th July". Product page still has the release pegged for the 6th, but this seemed pretty adamant. Maybe EU/UK are getting delays?

Maybe there is a back log of product that needs to be addressed. Was this through FFG or a store? I could see FFG holding off to make sure their warehouse has product after they distribute to all their product going to stores.

Through one of the bigger UK stores. X-wing is slated for the 24th, but is also marked as being On The Boat, which makes me wonder if there was shipping consolidation for the EU markets that has held back Armada, or maybe it was just a mistake mixing up the two releases.

It's not going to kill me to have to wait a couple more weeks, but it did give me some pause in putting in an additional pre-order now that the firm date of the 6th has come into question. I'm thinking I may risk them selling out and buy on the day rather than bumping up my pre-order now.
