Did we get any confirmations on rumors of Wave 6 heading out?
Any real reasons to get more than 1 of each expansion?
Strategy: What would you use 4 hammerheads for?

I already pre-ordered 2 of each. I like to have options. You can find a way to run 2 of any ship in a list... If you build it right. Will they be super competitive? No, but who cares as long as it is fun to play.
Quasar, probably only 1. Too expensive and fragile for 2.
Hammers? 2 packs or zero, I think. I'm thinking of using them as finishers for an MC30 swarm, where I had trc90s previously.

Welp. They usually have preorders available at FFGHQ when things go to Shipping Now, or about two weeks ahead of time, and that wasn't there today, so at least two weeks still.
At announce, I was a firm no on getting multiple of either, but now seeing upgrade cards, I'm a maybe. Two Quasars could push a fearsome squadron list. I find it tough to throw 4 Hammerheads around, but it'd be fun. I'd probably want two QF just for the two Disposable Caps, but a single upgrade card hasn't been enough for me to justify an additional purchase before. I'll see how they play out. Long run I could see me buying two of both, but we'll see.
I would want at least one of those hammerheads kitted out as an Anti-Squadron ship, the rest probably as artillery flying in formation.
Exactly how is a hh any way a AA ship?
Is there any use for a 2nd QF if you dont want to run it as double squadron alphas?
HH is the only rebel ship that can take flechettes and reroll them without a con fire token is all. It's obviously no where near the Raider in terms of Anti-Squad capability, but I'll try it at least a couple of times.
That'd be the primary use, but I'd also run them both as 2s and get two red dice for flak just for fun as well. Kallus just for kicks.

I'm only guessing:
Its Cheap, and only the second Rebel ship that can equip and use Fletchette Torpedoes.
And its almost half the cost of the other.
Plus the Task-Forces promise you to be close together, which provides overlapping arcs of fire.
With only a single "good" ranged arc, that leads to the Nebulon Syndrome, where you will often fire a shot from the Front at a ship, but your second shot is almost guranteed to be AA.
So perhaps, rather than singly, its the combination of all of those factors that can lead someone to believe its a somewhat effective AA Ship?

ISD or VSD, Intradictor, Quasar, Quasar in a Konstantin list. One as a carrier, one as a cheap gunship with DC and OP to set up Avenger. Or Phylon 7 tractor beams to be a total movement PITA.
Edited by cynanbloodbaneI plan to get 3 QF's and 4 packs of HH's. I know I'm running 3 TFO HH's in a Leia list. Still constructing lists for the rest.

I heard from FFG today they expect Early July for the release. So I'm guessing the 14th,
1 Quasar since I hardly ever play Imperials and I like to have one of everything regardless. 2 Hammerhead packs, because I can legimately see 4 of them in a fleet making sense, and there might be a need to have more doubles of some of the cards.
I try to keep things reasonable, and generally Armada is a game that doesn't force you to buy extreme amounts of something just to field a competitive list.
I've ordered 1 of each expansion, but can easily see myself getting two.
I think two Quasars is going to be awesome (they will go down fast though!) I can't wait to send all of my 10 squads on two activations (with room for other ships!)
Hammerheads have the External Racks that I want. I think 2 will be very easy to field, and will fit into many lists. 4 will be interesting, but I wonder if lists with 4 Hammerheads will be effective. I mean they may be, but I think the Teams will take a lot of practice.
One of each to start, probably 2 of each when all is said and done
The 13th is a likely street date at this point from all sources.
I'm going for 3 of each because reasons.
Is the QF with red AA dice going to be a useful AA boat? Anyone playtest it? Or is it better to still use either squadrons for it or other AA ships?

With Kallus it will be good. Give it BC and FC and push some squads around. Should be able to tear through most squadron list with all that range.
Or RS and Tie/D. You're crappy red dice probably won't hit but you will deal 1 un-Biggs-able damage.
I'm still not a huge fan of any ship with red AA dice. With Rieekan and Rhymer nerfed, slow Rebel squads have to trudge through flak, and weaker Imp squads don't want to go near it. Ciena is still invincible though. She may be the best ace in the game now.
I'm still sticking with just one of each for now. Although I can see getting a second pack of HHs for running 3-4 of them if I end up really liking them and/or just more External Racks.
I'm feeling the buyer's remorse on all the ships I've bought 2 of (Liberty, ISD, Gladiator, Assault Frigate MK2) so I'll be buying 1 of each for now. My son's finally hitting the gaming age, but he has some coordination problems (just wrapping up occupational therapy and still going with speech therapy) so I'm spending most of my game budget buying tools to help him play.
I'm gonna be the only guy getting 2x of each. (Maybe 3 of the quasar... MAYBE, with rhymer's nerf I'm reconsidering, though I may snag one as a desk model... I love the design)
I can't wait for the quasar....
As for the hammerheads, they feel like a ship that wants to be run in numbers, so I'mma make sure I have at least 4 models... I don't play rebels often, but I could see some niche uses for 4 of them...
The real problem for me is figuring out my storage.... I'm full up....
I've got 3 corvettes and wanted to run more at times, so I think the HammerHead will fill that void, I'll probably do 2 of those and sell 1 to settle on 3. 1 quasor for now even though I like some of the cards in that one better. I wish they'd release new cards for the faq, cause I don't get to play as often as I like and I feel I'm going to forget the changes.

Sure, the only guy :-P I'm getting 1 QF and 2 HH packs to begin with, with a second QF to follow.

Alas, I am not alone. TT^TT
lol
Yeah. I usually preorder 1 of everything from the internet. And then buy duplicates from FLGS as needed.
I'm going 1 QF and 2 HH packs. I know I will want 4 HHs on the table eventually. I don't see me getting floored by the QF on the table.
I am also a mostly Rebel player who dabbles in Imps. So there is bias there.

The Intradictor is the most badass ship ever to mess with your own fleet.
Im going with 2 each. I was on the fence about multiple quasars but disp caps put me over the edge.
