There is no schedule, which is infuriating. Ususally when a new wave comes out there is an update at some point to clarify new interactions and fix errors in wording, but that can take anywhere between a day and a month. The balancing updates on the other hand came out of nowhere, pretty much.

If there's a pattern, it's to release a balance FAQ right before a major tournament that people have spent months practicing for.
You know, so we don't get events swamped with 'meta' builds.
It's a bit of a cheap tactic to artificially inflate diversity at the expense of competitive play, though.
