I am looking for stats for Gamorrean player characters please - I know they were in the Edge of the Empire core book as NPC's, but has anyone turned this into a PC species?

Yes, I have heard of the Unofficial Species Menagerie , but that seems very out of date compared to the game(s) mechanics now.

I don't think there's much wrong with the USM's Gamorrean, but you could go for Brawn 3, Intellect 1, wound threshold = 12 + Brawn, strain threshold = 8 + Willpower. Maybe a rank in Athletics or Melee, and the Knockdown talent. About 85-90 XP.

I agree that USM is out of date with the current mechanics. Also, look at how the new species compared to the USM species.

Anyway, I think your write-up looks great. Maybe remove the bonus to Athletics and give a free rank in Burly?

I'd probably say 3 brawn, 1 int, a rank in feral strength 80exp

racial bonus: +1 rank in melee, this can go to 3 at creation

I would go for the following:

3 2 1 2 2 1

1 rank in Brawl

100xp

And the primitive trait.
